LANDSCAPES OF MY INNER DIASPORA 👣 a 10 year journey - newly staged with e-cello, live electronics and audio reactive visuals.
This double solo of contemporary dance and electric cello music reveals the rugged paths through emotional landscapes of inner diaspora, questioning origin and subjective perceptions time, space, body and psyche.

🔹1. Prelude / Hommage à Bragato, the cellist who for many years performed together with Piazzolla - an excellent performer and composer himself.
🔹2. We call it “Tango Dogs”. Using “La Cumparsita” recording by D’Arienzo’s orchestra - with some granular processing and with live improvisation reacting to the dancers’ movements.
🔹3. “Libertango” of course…sampled percussion using only cello sounds.
