Lucy Landymore is a multi-percussionist, specialising in tuned percussion, drum kit and Latin percussion.
I have always been searching for a musical sound bath. Since I couldn’t find one, I tried to create one.
I analysed the elements I was missing from a sound bath, the elements I was missing from a concert, and then combined them.
The main elements in my opinion were these…
Sound baths: missing music.
Concerts: missing comfort.
Now I have designed a concert where we have calming, therapeutic music played by the mellow sound of the vibraphone, whilst the audience are free to lie down with pillows and blankets.
We often forget to leave time for ourselves and as soon as we do, the difference it makes to finally STOP and take a break is huge.

Here are my upcoming concert dates.
First is our Sound Healing Concert, a concert where you can lay down and relax while I play my healing music. I will perform this concert together with .music.coaching .
Second and third, I perform Chill&Thrill with which is a program of our compositions and arrangements, fun and serious, energetic and calming, hence the name Chill and Thrill!
Fourth, a concert I have been preparing for over the past year, will be solo percussion with the including a mixture of my compositions, some re-imagined tracks, and music that has inspired Hans Zimmer.
4 concerts, 4 countries. Austria, Netherlands, Croatia, Germany.

Interesting that some music can be so simple but have so much emotion!
Nastja and I are performing our own arrangement of Interstellar here, which we included in our healing concert experience.
She is playing on a one-of-a-kind designer PH piano, which lives in the VIA - Piano & Arts center! It's beautiful isn't it?
I wrote a piece called Coherent Rise. Do you know why?
At the end of the video, you'll learn the reason for the composition, along with the HEALTH benefits that come with it! It fascinates me.
Coherent Rise hasn't been released yet but I will be performing it on 7th March at the VIA Piano and Arts Center, Vienna.

I’m composing new healing music after visiting a few fascinating places through Africa. Want to guess where I’ve been, or suggest where I should go next time?
I’m also spending the start of the year arranging some of my pre-existing pieces for orchestra.
I’m constantly collecting research on breathwork, healing frequencies, meditation, and testing whether I personally feel the benefits they claim to have. The answer is generally YES. We underestimate them!

I have been travelling through Kenya, Zanzibar, Zimbabwe and South Africa, collecting some new rhythmic material!
I was craving to play again and saw the musicians here playing the welcome music. I wondered if I could join in for a bit!

The bad news: I was working over Christmas.
The good news: It was with in Belgrade! 🥳 If you hadn’t already heard, it was one of their last concerts ever.
I had a lovely Christmas there, eating the food in the 3rd slide and playing the Christmas concert.
Now it’s nearly the New Year and we’ll be performing 5 final shows in Bochum!
