To the people that couldn't make it to yesterday's meeting: We have a few projects coming up :)

1) There's a Charity Concert happening on June 14th at 7pm in the Volkshaus Ferdinand Markl Straße. Mr. Kaltenböck (A music teacher at the Europagymnasium) asked us to serve some drinks before the start of the concert and/or after. He also wants some people to stand infront of the entrance of the hall to stop people from going inside the hall with food. (Which is forbidden)
At 8pm the buffet will start and there's a kitchen for us to use and we will start preparing things in the afternoon. If anyone is interested in this and wants to help out/cook/bake some goods please let us know by sending us a message so we can discuss the details at the next meeting!

2) Interact Summer Camp: Interact is organising a summer camp for interacters! It will take place from August 6th to August 9th and each day will cost you 50€ so all in all it would cost 150€ but it's a great chance to meet Interacters all over Austria and neighbouring countries/provinces! You can sign up until May 30th!

3) Opportunity to visit India! Interact Austria is organising an exchange to India and you can decide on the dates yourself! If anyone is interested please let me know so I can send you the application form 😊

Anmeldung

We just finished our first meeting with the new executives of the Rotary Interact Club Linz! We thank everyone who could make it to the meeting and hope you enjoyed the delicious dinner we got to share :)

For everyone who couldn't make it:
On Saturday we have the opportunity to join a Rotary project which is about sending bicycle parts to South Africa. We do not need to prepare anything but if we have any tools for hard work it is advised to bring them.
We would meet at 8.30 infront of the Europagymnasium Auhof and we will be picked up by buses to head off to the workshop. It is important that we know by tomorrow how many people can officially make it, so that we can tell our mentor and guide Ms.Wansch.

We hope some of you will be able to make it! If you're interested please let us know 🖒

Interact Linz wünscht frohe Festtage & einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr! 🎄

Am 11. Oktober hatte unser Patenclub, der RC Linz-Landhaus, ein Benefizkonzert, um für den Wiederaufbau einer Schule in Nepal Geld zu sammeln. Wir waren unterstützend mit dabei!

Erholt und motiviert hatten wir gestern unser erstes Meeting nach den Sommerferien.
Auf ein gutes und produktives Jahr!

Nicht vergessen: Heute ab 18:30 werden wir das rotarische Jahr gemütlich in der L'Osteria an der Linzer Promenade ausklingen lassen !

Unser Meeting letzten Donnerstag war wieder gut besucht.

Nächstes Mal, am Dienstag, den 14. Juni werden wir den Vorstand für das nächste Clubjahr wählen - 18:30 im Cubus !

Full House beim heutigen Schnuppermeeting. Der Fokus lag deshalb darauf, die wichtigsten Infos über Rotary und Interact zu vermitteln. Vielen Dank für's Kommen !

Nächstes Meeting: Donnerstag, 2. Juni 18:30 im Cubus

Letzten Donnerstag fand unser 2. offizielles Meeting statt. Nach der Klärung einiger organisatorischer Einzelheiten, lag der Fokus des Abends in dezimierter, aber gemütlicher Runde auf einem Vortrag von Univ.Prof.Dr. Bernhard Voller.
In diesem ging es im Wesentlichen um das Medizinstudium an sich, es gab allerdings im Anschluss auch eine Diskussion zur Neurologie, die sein Spezialgebiet ist.

Nächstes Meeting: 12. November, 17:00, im Cubus !
