Pres. Moli Lemana called on leading nations like New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga to do more than just dominate. He challenged them to help uplift and to offer guidance, resources, and partnerships to small nations like Amerika Samoa who are still developing the game.
“This same message shaped my recommendation at the 2023 AGM in Brisbane. The format for the upcoming Sevens with a Top 8 and Bottom 8, came from the push to give every team a fighting chance to rise.”

Proud to see American Samoa represented at the inaugural Oceania Growth Conference & Annual General Meeting last week in Nadi, Fiji. Our Rugby President Moli Lemana joined unions from across the region to collaborate and plan for the growth of rugby in Oceania.
Fa’afetai tele to Oceania Rugby, World Rugby, and Fiji Rugby for hosting such an inspiring and meaningful event. We look forward to what’s ahead and how RUGBY will continue to grow here in our Island.
