From sketch to final result.

This is from a recent project by our art and animation director, Vivaldo Kily Viva Pura, in collaboration with Tungaline studio, for the writer and author Luís da Silva Ubunto.

We can see the stages the illustration went through to reach the final result.

As it was a book cover illustration, the idea was to create something that would make the viewer question things just by looking at the cover. These questions would draw their attention to what's inside the book.

The author loved the work, and we were extremely satisfied with the result.

We received many messages from artists and followers of our work asking us to start posting videos of our distribution process.

And we're starting with the first video on the list.

Appeal, the principle of drawing and animation that allows us to create iconic and memorable characters. In cinema, what distinguishes one actor from another is their charisma.

That is basically their way of being and performing. The same occurs in the real world; charisma is what differentiates one person from another. In animation, it's a little different.

Even though our characters are graced with the voices of professional voice actors, it's extremely important that the drawing itself is charismatic.

Our character needs to be iconic, memorable, and visually appealing. In just one drawing of them, we have to be able to express who they are, how they are, and how they act or think, and all of this is in the basic principles of appeal in character design.
