As we light the Flame of Remembrance, we honour the over one million lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Today’s gathering in Angola serves as a solemn reminder that their memory lives on forever. .

Over 250 guests, including Angolan officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Friends of Rwanda, and the Rwandan community, gathered in Luanda for . A testament to global solidarity.

Today, Ambassador Leonard Lipumbu of the Republic of Namibia paid a courtesy call to Ambassador Dr. Charles Rudakubana. Both diplomats acknowledged the cordial relations between the sister countries and discussed ways to enhance their working relations.

Today we commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and begin the official commemoration week.

Today, Amb Charles Rudakubana paid a courtesy call on Minister of State and Chief of Staff to the President, Dionísio Fonseca. They reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties that exist & shared vision for prosperity, agreeing to elevate relations through expanded Joint Cooperation.

Ambassador Dr. Charles Rudakubana, Rwanda’s Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary Non-Resident Ambassador, attended the New Year Greeting Ceremony for H.E. Carlos Vila Nova, President of São Tomé and Príncipe, at the Noble Hall of the People's Palace.

Today, Ambassador Dr. Charles Rudakubana paid a courtesy call on H.E. Adão de Almeida, President of Angola’s National Assembly. Discussions focused on strengthening institutional relations and parliamentary diplomacy between Rwanda and Angola.

Today, the Embassy of Rwanda in Luanda together with Rwandan community celebrated National Heroes Day. During his speech, Ambassador Charles Rudakubana praised the selfless sacrifice of our heroes as the foundation of Rwanda's dignity (Agaciro). He urged the Rwandan Community to remain partners in Rwanda’s transformation through unity and hard work.

Today Ambassador Dr. Charles Rudakubana received the Ambassador Djenabou Saifon Diallo of the Republic of Guinea-Conakry for a courtesy call.
The two envoys held discussions on strengthening bilateral relations between Rwanda and Guinea, as well as enhancing their working relationship in the Host Country.
