Armpower CJSC

On May 29, a workshop was conducted for the staff of Armpower CJSC, representatives of Renco Armestate Company, and employees of Siemens Energy. The workshop focused on promoting , preventing discrimination and violence, and encouraging the participation of women in the workplace.

Armpower CJSC General Director Paolo Paffumi emphasized the company's commitment to gender equality and the elimination of discrimination against women and girls. He highlighted the importance of creating for women and the benefits of their increased participation in the workforce and decision-making processes.

The workshop covered topics such as overcoming gender stereotypes, preventing violence, and the role of private companies in promoting gender equality. Studies were presented demonstrating that increased female participation in the workforce and decision-making not only improves women's well-being but also enhances overall productivity, innovation, and profitability for organizations.

Armpower team arranged a Gender Equality Induction training for the Siemens Energy staff.
Gender Equality in the workplace is considered one of the target directions of 2024 for Armpower CJSC.

Regardless of where you live in, gender equality is a fundamental human right.
One in three women worldwide has experienced violence. Gender-based violence hurts not only the individual survivors, but their families, communities, and entire societies – often across generations, undermining a women’s quality of life, and access to paid work and employment.
