Introducing Uranium. We believe that bridging gaps is important, but the explosive power of great design is what really innovates in the world nowadays. Join us in our mission to turn design into something innovative again.
That's why the next step for the Ura team is towards Uranium. Basically Ura on steroids, we aim to help proprietary players with great design, not only focusing on open source. Stay tuned.

You supported us on Patreon during 2016 and we gave back to other free open source projects by improving or creating better design for them. Wikispeech is one example of this symbiosis that makes us proud because we really like Wikimedia projects. Wikispeech aims to develop a functioning text-to-speech solution for Swedish, English and Arabic Wikipedia pages. Click on the link to earn all the details and explore the logo we did for them: https://blog.wikimedia.org/2016/12/20/wikispeech/
Many thanks to everyone that supports our Patreon and helps us and all the free open source projects get better design https://www.patreon.com/ura

Albanien.ch the weblog of Lars, one of the most active Wikipedia contributors we know, has been around from more than 20 years (wow), featuring also a newsletter with the latest news about Swiss and Albanian culture. We were approached by the owner of the website to redesign their logo with the aim to be as straight forward as possible. We used Ekstropia font, provided by Trembelat Design Collective based in Prishtina and visual elements from both Albania and Switzerland.
There is also a blog post (in German) explaining the creative process and the idea behind the logo: http://www.albanien.ch/une/blog/1686. What do you think of it?
