Pakistan has not “taken” land from Afghanistan in the sense of a recent conquest or annexation. The confusion usually comes from a long-standing border dispute.
🗺️ The real issue: the Durand Line
The border between the two countries is called the

Drawn in 1893 between Afghanistan and British India
It split Pashtun tribal areas between both sides
When Pakistan was created in 1947, it inherited this border
