Last night at 11:45 PM, the technical team of Maihan Humanitarian Convergence Organization conducted a rapid supervision visit at K**a District Hospital. All duty doctors were present, and health services were actively provided to patients. The patients expressed their satisfaction with the quality and provision of health services.

Maihan Humanitarian Convergence Organization (MHCO) is a national non-government, non-political, and non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Economy, committed to delivering humanitarian services across Afghanistan. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support planning, implementation, and supervision of reproductive health components within Nangarhar BPHS Project.

• Ensure RH activities are integrated with MNCH, GBV, nutrition, and emergency programs.

• Participate in RH technical working groups, meetings, and coordination forums at provincial level.

• Assist in preparing annual RH work plans, budgets, procurement plans, and activity schedules including HIVA.

• Provide technical guidance to provincial teams, health facilities, and partners on RH standards and protocols including HIVA.

• Conduct capacity-building sessions on Family Planning, ANC/PNC, EmONC, Newborn care, Safe delivery practices, Adolescent reproductive health and HIVA.

• Support development or adaptation of training materials, guidelines, and job aids.

• Monitor RH indicators in health facilities, mobile health teams, and outreach programs of Nangarhar province.

• Conduct regular supervision visits, prepare supervision reports, and follow up on action plans from relevant provinces.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to MoPH HMIS, Donor reporting systems and Internal M&E databases

• Support data collection for surveys, assessments, and baseline/endline studies.

• Ensure RH services comply with national RH/GBV/MNCH guidelines, standards, HIVA and SOPs.

• Support implementation of BEmONC and CEmONC quality improvement processes.

• Ensure infection prevention and control, safe delivery practices, and respectful maternity care.

• Ensuring supply of RH commodities (FP items, delivery kits, newborn kits, dignity kits).

• Represent the organization in RH-related meetings with PPHD, UN agencies, and key partners.

• Comply with all PSEAH and safeguarding policies.

• Ensure a safe and respectful environment for beneficiaries.

• Report any suspected PSEAH violations immediately.

• Maintain confidentiality and follow a survivor-centered approach.

• Participate in PSEAH trainings and promote compliance among staff.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between central office and field teams related to RH programs.

• Ensure compliance with MHCO safeguarding, child protection, and PSEA policies.

• Report any safeguarding or misconduct concerns following MHCO procedures.

• Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical behavior.

Job Requirements:

• MD (Medical Doctor), Midwifery, Public Health, or related health qualification.

• Master’s in Public Health or reproductive health is an asset.

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in reproductive health programming or clinical maternal health.

• Experience in BPHS/EPHS implementation or humanitarian health projects preferred.

• Strong RH technical knowledge (ANC, PNC, FP, EmONC, Adolescent RH).

• Experience in capacity building and supervision.

• Data analysis and reporting skills.

• Knowledge of MoPH policies, HMIS, and national RH guidelines.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluency in Dari and Pashto; good command of English (written & spoken).

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Today, the MHCO handover and takeover team successfully conducted the planned handover and takeover process for the K**a Cluster, covering a total of 28 Health Facilities (HFs).

At the start of the process, the official handover and takeover committee, comprising representatives from MHCO, UNICEF, the Provincial Public Health Directorate (PPHD), the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI), the Provincial Economic Directorate, the Provincial Governor’s Office, and the Mustofiat (Provincial Revenue) Directorate, held an introductory meeting with the heads of the health facilities. During this meeting, the handover and takeover procedures were clearly explained and shared.

MHCO actively participated and led the process, ensuring effective coordination, transparency, and smooth facilitation among all committee members.

‎امروز تیم تسلیمی و تحویلی MHCO پروسه پلان‌شده تسلیمی و تحویلی خوشه کامه را که شامل ۲۸ مرکز صحی (HFs) می‌باشد، با موفقیت تطبیق نمود.

در آغاز این پروسه، کمیته رسمی تسلیمی و تحویلی متشکل از نمایندگان MHCO، یونیسف، ریاست صحت عامه ولایت (PPHD)، ریاست عمومی استخبارات (GDI)، ریاست اقتصاد ولایت، دفتر مقام ولایت، و ریاست مستوفیت با مسئولین مراکز صحی جلسه تعارفی برگزار نمود. در این جلسه، طرزالعمل‌ها و مراحل تسلیمی و تحویلی به‌گونه واضح تشریح و شریک ساخته شد.

MHCO با مشارکت فعال و رهبری مؤثر این پروسه، هماهنگی، شفافیت و تسهیل مناسب را میان تمام اعضای کمیته تضمین نمود.

Saturday, February 7, 2026, the handover process of health facilities related to the Shinwar Cluster, including Ghani Khel District Hospital (DH), and other 25 health facility centers was successfully completed and officially handed over to MHCO.

The process started with a coordination meeting at Ghani Khel District Hospital, where a structured handover plan was finalized. This was followed by an introduction meeting with clinic representatives, after which the official handover process was formally completed.

د شنبې په ورځ ۱۴۰۴/۱۱/۱۸ یا 2026/02/07، د شینوارو کلسټر اړوند د روغتیايي مراکزو د تسلیمۍ بهیر، د غني‌خېلو د ولسوالۍ روغتون (DH) په شمول، د ۲۵ روغتیايي مراکزو سره په بریالیتوب ترسره او په رسمي ډول MHCO مووسسه ته وسپارل شو.

په دې لړ کې، لومړی د غني‌خېلو د ولسوالۍ روغتون په سرطبابت کې د همغږۍ ناسته ترسره شوه، چې پکې د ولسوالۍ روغتون او اړوندو روغتیايي مراکزو لپاره د تسلیمۍ منظم پلان ترتیب شو. وروسته د کلینیکونو له استازو سره د پېژندنې ناسته وشوه او د تسلیمۍ پروسه په رسمي ډول بشپړه شوه.

روز شنبه ۱۴۰۴/۱۱/۱۸ برابر با 2026/02/07، روند تسلیمي مراکز صحی مربوط به کلاستر شینوار، به شمول شفاخانه ولسوالی غنی‌خیل (DH)، و ۲۵ مرکز صحی با موفقیت کامل انجام و به طور رسمی به موسسه MHCO تسلیم داده شد.

در این جریان، نخست نشست هماهنگی در مدیریت شفاخانه ولسوالی غنی‌خیل برگزار گردید که در آن پلان منظم تسلیمی مراکز صحی ترتیب شد. سپس نشست معرفی با نمایندگان کلینیک‌ها
برگزار گردید و پروسه تسلیمی به گونه رسمی تکمیل شد.

موږ د (۱۳۲) روغتیايي کلېنېکونو له لارې د ننګرهار د عامې روغتیا ریاست او د یونیسف همکارې موسسې په ملتیا ستاسو تر څنګ ولاړ یو ، تر څو ستاسو درد کم، هیله زیاته، او د ژوند چارې آسانه کړو.

مونږ ژمن یو او تاسې درانه ولس ته دا ډاډ درکوو چې خپل د با مسلک او تجربه لرونکو همکارانو سره به روغتیایي خدمات نور هم ښه او پیاوړي کړو، تر څو د ټولنې هر وګړی د ښې درملنې او وقایې څخه برخمن شي.
