WFPO's dedicated and committed team possesses a notable history that traces back to 1993 when they founded the Relief Organization for Afghan Orphans & Widows(R.O.A.O.W) in Peshawar,Pakistan. Initially, R.O.A.O.W concentrated its efforts on aiding widows residing in Afghan refugee camps within Pakistan.
