Savannah's chunky (not so little) puppies spent the afternoon in the sunshine, and mama Savannah took a nap. All of us have put so much time and love into keeping these babies alive and we love to see them growing like weeds!

We got a smile on intake! Meet Neon--he hasn't had a great start, but he's got a chance at a future now.

This wonderful mama cat had to have an emergency enucleation surgery after she got out of her owner's house and got into a fight. She was rushed in late at night and our vets completed the surgery at 5am. She's up and eating and on antibiotics and pain medicine that are as safe as possible for her three nursing two-week old kittens.

As our veterinarians start an emergency enucleation surgery, our cadre of kittens is living it up. We are far behind on rent, medicine, and food this month, and for those who cannot donate, it's free to vote every day this week on My Giving Circle. Every cup of coffee counts!

Our vets are working on some difficult surgical emergencies right now and although Friday is the weekend here, it isn't for us, not at all. We need your help to make enough headway on our monthly fundraisers that we can stay afloat and keep helping the emergencies that are coming through our doors nearly hourly.
