Some watches chase trends. The Seiko Alpinist just quietly outlasted them.
Born on a Japanese mountainside in 1959, it was never meant to be a collector’s piece, it was a tool, built for climbers who needed something they could trust at altitude.
Six decades later, it’s one of the most loved watches Seiko makes, and the reason is simple: they refined it without ever losing what made it special.
Swipe through the full 65-year journey above from the original Laurel, through the cult-favourite SARB017, to today’s modern Prospex generation.
If you’ve ever owned one, you already know why people don’t let them go.

SOME WATCHES GET COLLECTED. SOME GET WORN. THIS ONE DOES BOTH. ⌚️
The Seiko 5 Sports HUF Limited Edition SBSA323 is a collaboration between Seiko and HUF, the iconic skate and streetwear brand founded by Keith Hufnagel.
Built on the popular Seiko 5 Sports platform, it combines Seiko’s proven automatic movement, day-date display, and everyday durability with exclusive HUF design details that make it stand out from the standard collection.
Limited collaborations like this are interesting because they sit between two worlds: a watch you can genuinely wear every day and a watch collectors actively look for years later.
What do you think of Seiko’s collaboration pieces? Would you wear this one or keep it in the collection?

THE CITIZEN ATTESA THAT DESERVES MORE ATTENTION 🇯🇵⌚
The Citizen Attesa CB0284-66A is one of those watches that quietly delivers more technology than many luxury watches costing significantly more.
Built from Citizen’s Super Titanium™, this watch is incredibly lightweight, highly scratch-resistant, and comfortable enough for everyday wear. It also features Eco-Drive technology, meaning it charges from light and never needs regular battery changes. Add radio-controlled timekeeping and world time functionality, and you have a watch that practically sets itself.
Finished with a clean silver dial and sharp integrated design, this is a perfect example of Japanese watchmaking focused on practicality, precision, and everyday luxury.

⌚️ After selling more than 1,000 watches last month… this is the one I bought for myself.
The watch is the Seiko SWR104P1.
I’ve always wanted a slim leather strap dress watch, and this one just felt right.
You’re getting a refined rectangular gold-tone case, classic Roman numeral dial, Dauphine hands, sapphire crystal, black leather strap, and Seiko’s reliable 4N30 quartz movement. At just around 6.4mm thick, it slides effortlessly under a shirt cuff and gives off a timeless dress-watch look that feels far more expensive than it actually is.
What I like most is that it doesn’t try too hard. No oversized case. No unnecessary complications. Just a clean, elegant watch that works with a suit, formalwear, or even a simple black shirt.
Sometimes when you have access to thousands of watches… the one you choose for yourself says a lot.
