Working 80 hours a week is not discipline.
For most men I coach it’s avoidance.
I know how that lands. Read the next line before you react.
You’re not building harder.
You’re hiding harder.
From your marriage. From your body. From your father. From the conversation you’ve been avoiding with yourself for 7 years. The grind is the most socially acceptable way for a high-achieving man to disappear from his own life and still feel productive while he does it.
This isn’t theory. I’ve watched it in CEOs, founders, and senior executives across Dubai. The 80-hour week looks like ambition from the outside. From the inside, most of them know exactly what they’re escaping. They just won’t say it out loud.
Real discipline isn’t the grind.
Real discipline is doing 50 hours of focused work and then going home. Training. Eating right. Sleeping deep. Showing up for your wife. Being present with your kids. Calling your mother. Reading something that isn’t another business book.
That’s the harder discipline.
Because anyone can hide behind work. Very few men can do excellent work AND a full life. That requires a system, not motivation.
Anyone telling you to grind 100 hours a week is selling you a coping mechanism dressed up as success. They’re not teaching you ambition. They’re teaching you a beautiful way to leave your life without ever physically leaving the room.
The strongest man I know runs a 9-figure business, trains daily, sleeps 7 hours, has dinner with his wife every night, and is home by 7pm three days a week.
He doesn’t work less. He works smarter inside a system that doesn’t require him to abandon his life to stay successful.
That’s the real flex.

Stop trying to reduce your stress.
It’s the wrong goal and it’s quietly making high-performers weaker.
The wellness industry has sold you a lie: that stress is the enemy, and your job is to minimise it. Meditate more. Slow down. Avoid pressure. Protect your peace.
Here’s what they got wrong.
Your body runs on a system called allostasis it gets STRONGER from the stress it can recover from, and gets destroyed only by the stress it can’t.
Stress isn’t the problem. Stress without recovery is the problem.
A CEO running 70-hour weeks with elite recovery protocols is healthier than a retiree who avoids all stress and slowly decays on a couch. The pressure isn’t killing high-performers. The lack of an adaptation system is.
Think about how muscle works. You don’t grow by avoiding the weight. You grow by lifting it then recovering. The stress IS the stimulus. The recovery is where the growth happens.
Your nervous system works the exact same way.
This is the A in the DAMS Method the Adaptation Protocol. The goal was never to lower the stress in your life. The goal is to raise your capacity to handle it and to build recovery systems strong enough to turn that stress into output instead of breakdown.
That’s the difference between the man who burns out at 45 and the man who’s still leading, sharp and strong, at 75.
You don’t need a quieter life.
You need a stronger system.
Stress is not your enemy. An unrecovered nervous system is.

Big boys don’t cry.
Stand up. Be a man.
Take it like a man.
Hold it in. Suck it up.
We train men to be silent from the day they’re born.
And then we wonder why men die younger than women. Why we break down later. Why we leave earlier.
It’s not biology alone. It’s silence.
We don’t talk. We internalise. We carry it alone for 20, 30, 40 years.
And then one day — we just disappear.
I see it everywhere. In my clients. In my friends. In the mirror, on my hardest days.
Men who built companies but couldn’t build one honest conversation. Men who can carry the weight of an entire family — but were never taught how to put any of it down.
Here’s something most men realise too late:
After years with your wife — your woman — you eventually understand that you married your opposite. You were drawn to her calm. Her steadiness. Her stability.
And it was never an accident.
You were attracted to her calm because somewhere inside, you already knew — you were never built to carry it all alone.
She wasn’t your reward for being strong.
She was your reminder that you don’t have to be silent to be a man.
So talk to her. Before you disappear.
Because the strongest thing a man can ever do isn’t holding it in.
It’s letting one person all the way in.
—
This is heavy. I know. If this stirred something in you, you’re not alone — and you’re not broken. You were just never taught.
If you’re carrying something dark right now and it feels like too much, please reach out to someone today — a person you trust, or a professional. 🇦🇪 UAE: 800-HOPE (4673).
Save this. Send it to a man who carries everything in silence. He won’t ask. He needs it.

Day 28. One month into the comeback.
Let me be honest about what actually changed.
One month ago, I was struggling with weights I used to warm up with. I was tired by 2pm. I’d lie in bed at night and not recognise the body I was in. I’d forgotten what my own engine felt like when it ran properly.
Today — none of that is true anymore.
The numbers tell one story:
→ Strength up across every major lift
→ Body fat down measurably
→ Sleep locked at 7+ hours
→ Resting heart rate dropped
→ The 2pm crash is gone
But the numbers aren’t the real story.
The real change is this: I stopped negotiating with myself every single morning.
For years — even as a coach, even as an IFBB Pro — there was a daily war in my head. Do I train today or not. Do I eat clean or not. Do I sleep or push through. Every decision drained me before the day even started.
The system ended that war.
I don’t decide anymore. The architecture decides. The gym time is fixed. The food is planned. The sleep is protected. There’s no negotiation left to have — and that freed up more mental energy than any amount of motivation ever did.
This is the part nobody tells you about discipline. It’s not about willpower. It’s about removing the need for willpower entirely.
One month down. The hardest one. Because the first month is when the body fights you and the identity hasn’t caught up yet.
From here, it gets easier — not harder. The body remembers faster than anyone expects.
Month two, we go again.
If you’re rebuilding anything right now — save this. Watch the whole journey. The COMEBACK Highlight on my profile has every week documented.
Comment MONTH if you’re ready to start your own.

Dubai has the most billionaires per square kilometre on earth.
It also has one of the worst metabolic health profiles in the region.
Both things are true. And nobody wants to say it out loud.
I love this city. I chose it. I’m building my life here. So this isn’t an attack — it’s a real talk from someone who’s all in on Dubai.
The food scene is world class — but most of the menus would horrify a longevity doctor. The gym scene is impressive — but most people train for the mirror, not for performance. The wealth is undeniable — but real wealth at 60 doesn’t look like a bigger portfolio.
It looks like still walking. Still lifting. Still sharp. Still here.
Not a hospital bed in a private wing of a hospital that your money paid for.
Here’s the uncomfortable part: the wealthier the resident, the worse this often gets. The richest men I meet here are frequently the most physically neglected. The 18-hour days. The 2am business dinners. The “I’ll sleep when the deal closes” mentality. The hustle worship dressed up as ambition.
It’s killing the very people this city celebrates most.
I’m not saying slow down. Dubai isn’t a slow-down city and never will be. I’m saying: build the body and the systems that let you run at this pace for 40 years — not 4.
You can be the richest man in Dubai and still not be the strongest.
And in 2026, the strong are quietly winning. While everyone else is buying watches that count the hours, they’re building bodies that earn the years.
الصحة هي الثروة الوحيدة اللي لما بتخسرها — مفيش بنك يردّهالك.

There’s a specific kind of poverty hiding inside the most expensive suits in Dubai.
It’s not financial. It’s physical.
I sit across from men in this city with eight and nine-figure net worths whose bodies are quietly dying. They sleep 4 hours. They eat one meal — at midnight. They haven’t lifted anything heavier than their phone in 6 months. They look successful in photos.
They feel like they’re rotting from the inside.
I’m not writing this to judge anyone. I’m writing it because most of these men have told me — in private — that they know. They feel it. They’ve just convinced themselves that the body comes “after” the business is built.
That word — “after” — is the most expensive word in the English language.
The body you ignore in your 30s is the body that betrays you in your 50s. And no amount of money buys back a body that’s already broken. Ask any cardiologist treating men in their 40s and 50s in Dubai’s private hospitals. They see this every week.
The wealthy men I respect most are not the ones with the biggest businesses. They’re the ones who still sprint at 50. Still lift heavy. Still sleep deep. Still walk into a room and command it physically — not just financially.
They understood something earlier than their peers: the body is the only asset that compounds in the OPPOSITE direction of every other asset you build.
Your business compounds upward over time. Your body compounds downward — unless you actively work against the slope.
If you’re a builder reading this, here’s the honest truth: you’re not building wealth by neglecting your body. You’re pre-paying for medical bills. And the math on those bills always wins.
This is exactly what the DAMS Method exists for. Building the body and mind that can outlast the wealth — not the other way around.
Comment BODY if this is hitting you. I’ll send you the protocol I run with my private executive clients.

I’m about to say something that will make 90% of personal trainers in Dubai uncomfortable.
But it needs to be said.
Most personal trainers in this city are not training you. They’re entertaining you.
They’re counting reps. They’re handing you towels. They’re playing your favourite music. They’re filming TikToks for their own page while you do single-leg squats they read about online last week.
I say this as someone who spent over a decade inside this industry. As an IFBB Pro who trained at the highest competitive level. As a coach who’s worked with CEOs running real businesses in this city.
Here’s the test that exposes everything:
Ask your trainer one question — “What is my cortisol level doing right now?”
If they can’t answer, they’re not training a high-performer. They’re babysitting a member.
Real performance coaching isn’t about counting to 12 and high-fiving you. It’s about understanding:
→ Your hormonal context
→ Your recovery capacity
→ Your sleep and stress biomarkers
→ Your identity goals — not just your aesthetic ones
→ The protocol that gets you to your peak — not the workout that fills 45 minutes
This is why CEOs I work with paid mid-five-figures for “training” for years and saw zero meaningful change. They didn’t have a trainer problem. They had a coaching problem.
If you’ve been “training” for two years and your numbers haven’t moved — fire your trainer. Not because they’re bad people. Because they’re in the wrong category for what you need.
You don’t need a trainer.
You need a system.
Comment SYSTEM and I’ll DM you the difference between training and coaching — and what to look for if you’re serious about moving into elite performance.
