Dubai’s May 2026 transaction data shows a clear pattern: off-plan continues to lead the market by transaction count. This is not a market opinion. It is an insight backed by transaction data.
With 13,816 total transactions analysed, off-plan accounted for 56.8% of activity, compared to 43.2% for ready properties. For investors, this points to where demand is being shaped early.
For agents, it points to something equally important: where long-term careers are being built. Off-plan is no longer just a segment of the market. It is where agents learn developer strategy, project positioning, payment plans, launch cycles, investor behaviour, and long-term client advisory.
That is why more experienced leasing and resale brokers are moving into off-plan, not to start over, but to grow into a more structured, future-focused side of Dubai real estate.
