WATCH: Filipinos in Fujairah, UAE hold first-ever Philippine Independence Day celebration

The celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day continues across the United Arab Emirates, with festivities reaching Fujairah on the country’s east coast on June 13, 2026.

Talented Filipinos from various age groups showcased their skills through performances of patriotic Filipino songs and other music popular within the Filipino community.

The event was also attended by Ambrosio Brian Enciso III, Consul General of the Philippines in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. In his remarks and exclusive interview on TFCN, he highlighted not only the significance of the Independence Day celebration, but also expressed gratitude to the UAE government for providing assistance to Filipinos affected by the recent 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Mindanao.

WATCH: The Philippines expresses its gratitude to the UAE government during the celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.

Ambrosio Brian Enciso III, Consul General of the Philippines in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, extended his greetings to the Filipino community during the first-ever Philippine Independence Day celebration in Fujairah, one of the seven emirates which is located on the UAE’s east coast.

He also shared plans to possibly bring the Serbisyo Caravan to Fujairah to enhance government services for overseas Filipinos across the UAE.

Enciso III also thanked the UAE government for its swift assistance provided to Filipinos affected by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Mindanao.
