How to transfer images from one TV to another. Splitter, smart TV, and media server
Transferring images between TVs depends on your setup and the hardware available.
🔶Here is how to do it using splitters, smart TV features, and media servers
▪️HDMI Splitter (The Wired Route)
Best for mirroring the exact same image (clone) from one TV to another simultaneously, regardless of the TV models.
How it works: You connect your source device (like a cable box or PC) to an HDMI splitter via an HDMI cable. Then, run two separate HDMI cables from the splitter to each TV.
Best used for: Displaying the exact same content in real-time across multiple screens (e.g., a sports game or a photo slideshow).
▫️ Smart TV Features (The Wireless Route)
Best for quickly beaming photos, casting, or sharing media on modern, Wi-Fi-enabled screens.
Screen Mirroring / Smart View: If both TVs are on the same Wi-Fi network, you can mirror the screen of a modern Smart TV to a second Smart TV using their built-in casting protocols (like Miracast or Google Cast).
Cloud Sharing: Sync both TVs to the same cloud account (e.g., Google Photos, Samsung Cloud, or iCloud).
Simply log into the Photos app on both TVs to view your synced images.
▪️Media Server (The Network Route)
Best for accessing a massive, shared library of images across multiple TVs without moving files.
How it works: You set up a media server application (such as Plex or Emby) on a local computer, network-attached storage (NAS) drive, or an Nvidia Shield.
Accessing images: Connect both of your smart TVs to the same local network.
Install the corresponding media server app on the TVs to browse, select, and display your image libraries seamlessly.

Metallica celebrates the anniversary of ReLoad with an expanded reissue
ReLoad will be revisited in expanded form on June 26, via the thrash/metal titans’ own Blackened Records.
⚡️ReLoad famously came on the heels of the previous year’s Load — and would top the charts in seven countries and debut atop the Billboard 200 upon its release. The record captured Metallica in a transitionary period; the music on ReLoad is a bit removed from Metallica’s thrash roots, instead adopting a more of-the-time alternative/hard-rock approach.
🎶Three singles were released from ReLoad, each of which has remained a set list staple in the years since: “The Memory Remains,” “The Unforgiven II” and “Fuel.” In addition to a remastered version of the original album tracks, ReLoad‘s revisiting will include a bounty of material from the album sessions (which were recorded concurrently with producer Bob Rock in the sessions that would also spawn Load‘s tracks — but instead of a double record, Metallica split it into two lengthy albums of material).

MUSIC HALL THE STEAITH Turntable
🔊The Stealth has tiny red/blue LED indicator lights for power and speed, it's otherwise all black save for the markings on the counterweight and anti-skating k**b. Even the brand and model name are embossed into the plinth so as not to interrupt the aesthetic. At around 24 lbs, and with a genuinely heavy platter, it certainly has the sheer mass befitting more upmarket models. Anyway, the Stealth certainly lives up to its name, and there's nothing to criticize about the build quality
🎼It’s a three-speed turntable, all adjusted by touch-sensing buttons. The three-speeds on offer include the 78RPM speed for shellac discs popular 70 to 80 years ago. 78s speed discs need a dedicated stylus type to play them – but that’s not an issue, as the Stealth offers a detachable Headshell with a standard SME bayonet mount. You can swap a 78-compatible cartridge/head-shell onto the tonearm in seconds. Cartridges for 78 speed discs are still readily available, but if playing your Great Grandfather’s 78s is not a priority, you can still use the detachable Headshell feature for different types of cartridges.
🎵The Direct Drive means the motor is mounted directly under the platter’s spindle. There are benefits to both DD and BD methods, but more consistent speed and fast start-up are the main benefits of a Direct Drive. This is Music Hall’s first DD turntable.
🔹Features:
▪️Moving magnetic cartridge
▫️Motor: Brushless motor (Low torque)
▪️Turntable Platter: 305mm (12”) dia. Aluminum die-cast
▫️Speed: 331/3, 45 and 78rp
▪️Signal-to-noise ratio (for MM): ▫️Typical: More than 70dB DIN-B (SS-4242), Limit: More than 65dB DIN-B (SS-4242)
▫️Speed Tolerance: Constant Speed 3000Hz +/-0.3% (CD-4005)
▪️Phono Output Level: Typical: 5.5mV -3dB/+1dB: 3.894mV6.172mV at 1KHz 5cm/sec (CD-4005), Limit: 5.5mV -4dB/+2dB: 3.471mV6.925mV at 1KHz 5cm/sec (CD-4005)
▫️Frequency Response (Phono Output): Typical: 20Hz20kHz +/-0.5dB, Limit: 20Hz20kHz +/-1dB

How Does Cone Material Affect Sound?
Speaker cone material determines sound quality by balancing stiffness (preventing distortion), low mass (increasing responsiveness), and internal damping (reducing unwanted resonance). Stiff materials like metal create precise, sharp audio, while softer materials like paper offer warm, natural tones. The material dictates how quickly the speaker reacts to signals and how it handles break-up at high volumes.
🔷Key Material Characteristics and Sound Impact:
▪️Paper: one of the most popular materials, providing good internal damping and a warm, natural, and balanced sound. It breaks up gradually rather than violently at high frequencies.
▫️Polypropylene: offers excellent damping, resulting in a smooth, neutral, and clean sound, though sometimes described as less "lively" or slightly sterile. It is very resistant to moisture.
▪️Metal (Aluminum/Titanium): known for high stiffness, which provides accurate, detailed, and tight sound reproduction. Metal cones are excellent for low-frequency drivers but may require steep filters to manage high-frequency distortion.
▫️Kevlar/Carbon Fiber: very rigid and lightweight, providing tight, fast, and powerful bass and midrange, suitable for high-performance audio.
▪️Fabric/Silk: often used in tweeters, these materials offer excellent damping and a smooth, detailed, and non-fatiguing high-frequency response.
🔸Factors Influencing Sound Beyond Material:
✔️Stiffness. A stiffer cone ensures the cone moves like a piston without bending, reducing harmonic distortion.
✔️Density/Weight. Lighter cones are faster and more responsive, improving efficiency and detail.
✔️Damping. Good damping reduces cone resonance.
The choice of material often involves compromises; for instance, a material that provides great, rigid bass may require careful engineering to avoid harshness in the midrange, while a damped material may be less precise

Why Does a DJ Need Headphones and How to Choose the Right One?
🎧Why DJs Need Headphones?
✔️Cueing/Pre-listening: Hearing the next song, checking its structure, and finding the right starting point without the audience hearing it.
✔️Beatmatching: Synchronizing the beats per minute (BPM) of two tracks together before blending them.
✔️Noise Isolation: Blocking out loud club or concert speakers to clearly hear the mix.
✔️Monitoring Quality: Ensuring the mix is smooth, the effects are correct, and the sound is not distorting.
🎶How to Choose the Right DJ Headphones?
➖Closed-Back Design: Choose closed-back headphones to maximize sound isolation, as open-back models allow too much outside noise in.
➖Durability and Flexibility: Look for robust construction with swiveling or rotating ear cups, which allow for flexible single-ear monitoring.
➖Sound Quality: Prioritize headphones with a strong, punchy bass (usually 40mm or 50mm drivers) for accurate monitoring in loud environments.
➖Comfort: Select headphones with comfortable padding for long sessions and a decent clamping force to keep them secure.
➖Cable Type: Opt for a coiled cable, as it provides flexibility and is less likely to be tripped over than straight cables.
➖Impedance and Output: Ensure they work well with your audio interface or controller, typically offering a wide frequency response.

Types of Speaker Drivers
Speaker drivers are the individual components within a loudspeaker enclosure that convert electrical signals into sound waves. The main types are classified by the frequency range they reproduce: woofers (low), mid-range (mid), and tweeters (high), with subwoofers for extreme bass. They function by vibrating air to create sound.
🔊Core Types of Speaker Drivers
▪️Subwoofer (approx. 20Hz–200Hz): Specialized for very low-frequency, deep bass sounds. Often housed in dedicated, robust cabinets.
▪️Woofer (approx. 20Hz–500Hz/2kHz): Larger drivers designed for low-frequency, high-amplitude sounds (bass).
▪️Mid-range Driver (approx. 500Hz–4kHz): Reproduces the middle frequencies, vital for clear human vocals and instruments.
▪️Tweeter (approx. 2kHz–20kHz+): Small, fast-vibrating drivers (often dome-shaped) that produce high-pitched sounds like cymbals and treble.
▪️Super-Tweeter: A specialized tweeter focused on extremely high frequencies.
▪️Full-Range Driver: Designed to cover the entire audible spectrum, often used in smaller audio devices rather than high-fidelity systems.
🎶Driver Construction and Specialized Types
▫️Cone Drivers (Dynamic): The most common type, using a conical membrane attached to a voice coil to move air.
▫️Dome Drivers: Commonly used for tweeters and some mid-range drivers to disperse high frequencies evenly.
▫️Ribbon Drivers: Use a thin membrane (often aluminum) suspended in a magnetic field, providing exceptional high-frequency response.
▫️Compression Drivers: Used with horns in live performance speakers to increase sound pressure and distance.
🎵Key Considerations
✔️Size: Generally, larger drivers (woofers) produce lower frequencies, while smaller drivers (tweeters) handle high frequencies.
✔️Materials: Cones are commonly made of paper, plastic, metal (like aluminum or beryllium), or composite materials to influence sound quality and durability.
✔️Sensitivity & Power Handling: Determines how loud a driver can get with a certain amount of power.
