🎶 CLASSIC WINDS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION 2027 — VIENNA, AUSTRIA 🎶

The acclaimed Classic Winds International Competition returns in 2027 for its 5th edition, bringing the world’s leading young wind talents to the musical capital of Vienna.

From 26 April – 5 May 2027, outstanding clarinetists, flautists, and saxophonists from around the globe will gather at the renowned MuTh Concert Hall to compete before an international jury of distinguished musicians.

Finalists will take the stage with the acclaimed Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, competing for an extraordinary €120,000 total prize fund.

Classic Winds International Competition returns in 2027 — Vienna awaits.

Following the outstanding success of its 2023 edition, the Classic Winds International Competition returns for its 5th edition, bringing its international celebration of wind artistry back to Europe — this time in the musical capital of Vienna, Austria.

From 26 April – 5 May 2027, outstanding young performers in Clarinet, Flute, and Saxophone will gather at the acclaimed MuTh Concert Hall to compete before a distinguished international jury and perform on one of the world’s most exciting platforms for emerging wind talent.

A defining highlight of the competition will be the Final Round with the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra.

The second round of the contest is over and only 18 masterful wind musicians moved to the next level.

The best 24 wind players from around the world will be showcasing their incredible talents from 19th to 21st of February 🎺🎶

Only 18 participants will pass to the 3rd round, scheduled for February 23-24.

From February 26 to March 1st, the top 12 participants, who have demonstrated exceptional skills, will compete for the coveted main prizes:
