Eight years ago, I met Zohaib while he was working out in the gym. Before that, he had already told me, "You have so much potential." At the time, I was just a skinny guy, but he saw something in me—he believed in my genetic potential. Honestly, I thought he was joking.

One day, he told me they were organizing the Mr. Chakwal Bodybuilding Contest. I was only training for my own mental peace, not thinking about competing. But he looked at me and said, "You can step on that stage." I agreed—but I told him, "Don’t tell anyone." In our culture, bodybuilding—especially posing in competition wear—wasn’t always seen as acceptable, and I didn’t know how my family would react.

Despite that, I competed. I placed 4th. That moment changed everything. That was the start of my journey.

Zohaib is the man who put me in bodybuilding. If I’m here today, it's because of him. He saw what I couldn’t see in myself. Maybe God sent him into my life at the right time. Alhamdulillah, there are no words to describe what he means to me—he is like my brother.

Whenever he comes from the USA for vacation, we spend great time together, just like we always have. Standing together today, posing outside after eight years, is proof of how far we’ve come. A true lover of bodybuilding, a true brother—Zohaib.

In Chakwal, there are only two people who truly understand me. Zohaib is one of them, and the other is Mohsin Bhai. He always told me, "You need to work on this part," and I took his advice seriously. His eyes are sharp—he notices every little detail. Because of him, every year I came back better, improving step by step. That’s my motivation.
