Notice the puffy eyes? Sunday took a very unexpected turn of events…

First of all thank you to all those who’ve check in 🫶🏼

We had comp last weekend. Half way through the second workout, I started to lose coordination, with my arms and legs and went completely weak. I went from vertical to horizontal rather quick, unable to move lying on the floor apologies _ . Then was helped off the main competition floor.

As concerning as this was at the time, we got the ol’ ticker 🫀 checked out this week - and things came through all functioning and working well.

However what actually happened: Food-Dependent Exercise-Induced Anaphylaxis (FDEIA).

So, the puffy eyes in the first photo? That is basically a histamine-driven capillary leak. As this photo taken… its was all unravelling.

You have to be conscious of these things. However, I was nonthewiser to the effects of histamine in this environment.
