CONGRATULATIONS to Suzanne Ackerman-Berman, our Transformation Director, who received the Women in Leadership award for 2020 at the ABSA Jewish Achievers Awards. This year, the virtual event paid tribute to those members of the SA Jewish community who rose to the challenge against the COVID-19 pandemic. In her category of 24 nominees, Suzanne won the award for her work in helping the vulnerable in our country during the pandemic, with the establishment of the Feed the Nation Foundation. This year’s event also highlighted the work of leading doctors and professors in the fight against COVID-19, including Professor Barry Schoub, Professor Cheryl Cohen and Professor Mervyn Mer.
