Supporting your immune system to perform to the best of its ability is the only thing that will make you prepared for any viruses around. 🦠💪🏼 Vitamin D is vitally important for your immune health and a new study has shown that diet itself doesn’t cut it when it comes to getting enough of the vitamin, even if you’re eating fish 5 times a week!
The SUN ☀️ is our most important source of Vit D but although we are high in sunlight here in Oz we either block it out with sunscreen or avoid it by staying out of it. Therefore it is recommended for you to eat fish three meals (300-450 grams of fish) per week whereas 200 grams should be fatty fish like herring, mackerel, salmon, trout or halibut, exposing your skin to sun rays 20 min a day and intake of enriched products.
The way our diets are changing proves that we still don’t eat enough fish. 🤷🏼♀️ The consumption of fish is going down and is significantly lower than our meat intake. Scientists always talk about the importance of eating fish because it is an important source of Vit D. Another important reason to eating salmon or fatty fish is for the intake of Omega-3, also extremely important for your cells to absorb the important vitamins and strengthen your immune system. If you don’t get enough Vit D through your diet it could be a great idea to add a supplement.
Vit D and Omega-3 will greatly support your immune system during this new flu season of the COVID-19.
2020 has had a rough start! 🎢 I haven’t been very present (if at all) on social media in the new year as I’ve had a few personal challenges going on. I haven’t felt like being present and as I’ve worked through my many personal hurdles, the loss of an extremely important person in my life took the biggest toll which lead me to focusing on being 100% present with my family only. In the midst of all this I’ve also struggled with the guilt of not being here for my followers, but have had to prioritize my most important values.
Social media can be so hard. I love connecting with people and I love all the beautiful people I’ve gotten to know through both facebook and instagram, but sometimes it can feel like a lonely socialization to me. Im the last three months I’ve really withdrawn which to my followers I apologize, but this time away from my screen has helped me recharge and I feel like NOW, I’m finally ready to be back on here! 💫✨

ECZEMA • SKIN RASH • PSORIASIS on the body can be caused by so many things; diets or food allergies, additives or preservatives in foods, hormone disturbances, washing detergents, the body’s immune system, the list goes on. One thing I have found when helping clients get rid of their eczema or psoriasis is that when they are tested their ratio between Omega-6:Omega-3 is always very out of balance! Too much Omega-6 to Omega-3 has proven to make the cell membrane stiff which makes it difficult for the cells to perform to best of their ability and absorb the nutrients they need for the body to function properly. I’m Desirée! Originally I’m from Norway but have been in Australia now on and off for the last 13 years after meeting my partner in crime back in 2006, which brought me here 🇦🇺🙏🏼
In 2013 I got really sick. I was 4 months in bed without being able to get out, I was dizzy, extremely tired, had nausea and couldn’t even drive a car.🥴 I was in and out of hospital with numerous tests and scans but they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me.
Two years later I was still not well and asked my doctor to test me for glandular fever, which showed positive. Never would I’ve guessed! My immune system which had always been rocking as I’ve always been very consciously healthy, got completely crushed. I would since then get sick every two months, at least. Colds and flus would catch me faster than the speed of light.
In May 2018 I came across a Scandinavian health concept which would change everything. My health got tested and proved my cells weren’t doing too well. From that day, touch wood, I have still not caught a cold and got through a nasty flu season here in Perth without even a sign of sniffles. “Luck” someone might say, but I’ll say I’ve repaired and strengthened my cells to keep me well and healthy from what I’ve learnt. 👌🏼

The Omega lies! 🤥
Please let me clear things up for you;
Firstly, let me elaborate on the importance of Omega-3. Yes, you've heard it before, but at no time in history have we ever needed it more than now. Why? Because of all the sh*t food we eat, excuse my language. Modern diets are full of bad Omega-6's, which makes no room for the small amounts of Omega-3's we do eat, so our bodies end up silently inflamed, which is the reason behind most illnesses we face today and the reason why you might be feeling a lack of energy. 11 MILLION Australians are suffering inflammation in the form of a chronic illness!
Secondly, it's recommended we get 250-500mg of Omega-3 each day. If we're feeling a bit under the weather, struggling mentally with either depression or anxiety, it's recommended we get 1000-2000 mg per day;
Because we want to feel good, we therefore head to the shops and grab a container of Fish Oil after the recommendations. "1000 mg of fish oil" it says. Fantastic, *happy dance* I'll feel great in no time! Or? You turn the container around to realise it only contains 300mg of actual Omega-3, tops. Thanks to the sale trick, you have to take at least 6 capsules to get close. But hang on;
In addition, it's proven that the body can't absorb the Omega-3's properly in the body without Vitamin E's. Only about 30-40% of the fish oil will be absorbed without antioxidants (Vit E), so if you grab a container of "pure fish oil" at the shops, you now have to up the intake to at least 9 capsules. If that isn't all;
Unfortunately, the body doesn't like having to break down a capsule. It'll only absorb up to 50% of the contents of a capsule or tablet. So now what? You should up your intake to 14 capsules a day. True story.
One of my clients did just that. He took 8 capsules of pure fish oil in the morning and 8 capsules at night. Yes, he nearly had enough recommended Omega-3's in his body when we tested him, he was only down 1% which is amazing results! But he realised he spent nearly $60 per month and gave his body a tonne of work with all the capsules... (How they're digested is a different topic!)
If you head to the shops to get your Omega-3's, please do your research! There are a lot of great suppliers out there, but there are also lot of liars on the market that promise you a lot more than they deliver. Always do your research!
OK- so we all want good health. We all want to feel good and most of us want to live long 😉 Some of us are willing to go that extra mile and will live & breath healthy living; while some of us “want to live a little” also. Today, both are likely to cause some levels of inflammation in our bodies, due to how our foods have changed over the last 100 years or so.

There are about a trillion ways to prepare salmon or trout! Salmon teriyaki is probably one of my favorite. Up your Omega-3 intake with these delicious flavors:
1 cup water
5 tablespoons coconut sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari sauce for GF)
1-2 tablespoons honey
1 large clove garlic, finely minced
1-2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons cornstarch (or arrowroot)
1/4 cup cold water
1. Combine the 1 cup water, coconut sugar, honey, garlic and ginger in a medium size saucepan and set over medium heat.
2. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and 1/4 cup water and whisk until dissolved. Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan.
3. Heat the sauce until it thickens to your desired thickness. If the sauce becomes too thick, add more water to thin it out.

This gorgeous little 4 month old bub struggled with atopic dermatitis on the cheeks, legs and arms. Her mum tried official guidelines from doctors (fatty creams and cortisone) but with no luck; this above is the result of her skin after applying our skin serum in the morning- and it cleared by the late afternoon! The Finnish mother didn't think it would help, even though she knew the product was of the highest quality and she used it herself. As you can understand, she was amazed! And yes, this is an all natural product and is therefore safe for children of all ages. (But because of its anti-aging properties it’s not needed for children long term 😉)

It's the 1st of July, which means that in about six months from now you will either be cheering at midnight for completing your New Years resolutions, or taking a shot for each one you failed to complete. The second may sound appealing, but that raging headache the next morning, paired with a year of regret, will make the classy cheers a lot more rewarding.
Don't worry, you still have six months. Better late than never, right? You aren't alone, either; according to a study done, 50-60 percent of people don't even MAKE a new year's resolution, and for the 40-50 percent that do, only 19 percent actually complete theirs...😏

The love of a pet! 💖 🐕
This little boy is unfortunately not ours! But we were lucky enough to look after him for a week a few weeks ago.
I grew up with animals; horses, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits- I’ve own them all! The beauty of having a best friend in an animal, especially as a child, is amazing. Someone you can share your thoughts with when you want the right answers and someone to always have your back no matter what 😉
Due to our traveling lifestyle we haven’t been able to get a pet for our boy yet, but the week we looked after Hudson I definitely saw a change in my boy for the better, a calmer boy and a boy who helped with the responsibilities of looking after him.

My little boy turns 4 today! 🥳
We decided this year to celebrate with no presents 😱 A friend of mine made me aware of the “Tenner party concept” a while ago and we felt it was right for us. Simply explained, we wanted no presents for our boy but parents and guests could choose to give some money if they wanted to (a tenner, hence the name of the concept!) Easier for the guests and less “stuff” in our house. He could then later choose to buy one bigger thing for his money. Win win!
To us it’s important for our son to understand that a birthday is about celebrating the milestone with friends and having a good time, rather than receiving ‘things’. It worked absolute wonders here and we’re stoked we chose to do this! He’s so excited about all the cards on the book shelf and showed me this morning which card was given from who 😊️🙌🏼
It could’ve been hard though; we recently went to a birthday party and bought a present for the birthday boy who also turned four; and so I had to try to explain why. It was a bit tricky, but I was honest.
To anyone who might want to implement this but don’t quite know how or think it might not work for their kids, this is what I did to make it easier:
1. I made a big fuss about who’s coming to celebrate with him! We spoke with excitement about who would be there and how much fun it would be almost daily long before his party.
2. I told him I’d make him a Batman cake 😅 So, we spoke a lot about the cake we would make to share with our friends.
Now don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t work the first time. I personally believe it’s something the kids will understand over time, especially if they’re young!
My story started two decades ago, before I knew where I would be heading with my life, but I knew my financial dreams. I knew there was going to be a way for me to live where I wanted to, travel where I wanted to and create a freedom for my family. This became extremely important to me when I became a mum!
The day I said Yes to an online and digital opportunity was the day I told myself my dream would come true. That day I realised I would have to put my “thinking hat” on and move forward with an opportunity I had never had before.
In my mind there was always doubt, what if I failed? What if I couldn’t create this freedom for my family? What if all my promises to my nearest ones ended up being empty promises with no results? What if everyone else were great, but I simply wasn’t?
I told myself if “everyone else” can do it, so can I. I have a positive mind and a positive outlook on life, but doubt still crept in. But “doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will”. It’s proving to be the case. I CAN do it. And so can you. I CHOSE not to give up. I CHOSE to prove to myself that I can do it, that I can create exactly what I want, all I needed was to learn the skill, learn the easy system, work with people that showed me how to do it and off I went. Bringing my vision to an online space, and creating an awesome pathway for many others that are following too, is giving me so much gratitude and happiness.
