Please allow me to extend a heartfelt welcome to all our members, celebrating our SEVENTH year of P.A.L.S. meetings. I hope that you will all share in the excitement that I experience every year I host these meetings. As one of the highlights of my professional career, it is an honor and a pleasure to serve as your president. I hope that you enjoy every aspect of these meetings to the fullest and plan on keeping the commitment of these few dates in your schedule each year. Our meetings are the result of year-round efforts of numerous individuals. I want to acknowledge Susan Strope who has provided immeasurable support to me and P.A.L.S. as our Vice President. I would also like to acknowledge Dr. David Sarment and Dr. Dima Lakkis who have believed in our vision and want to see P.A.L.S. continue and flourish. Without their support and belief in P.A.L.S. we would not have been able to continue to bring state-of-the-art topics and exemplary speakers. Dr. Sarment, Dr. Lakkis and Susan have led our membership drive along with all of you, introducing new members to our great group. In recent years P.A.L.S. has been brainstorming and searching for new ways to foster new memberships, so feel free to spread the word!
