Lisa Beamer - Farmers Insurance and Financial Services Agent

Farmers is dedicated to being the right choice for your insurance needs. (i.e. auto, homeowners, renters, life, business, umbrellas, ATV's, boats & more)

At the Lisa Beamer Agency, we believe insurance needs are not cookie cutter and should be personalized for your individual situation. This is done by using our knowledge of Farmers products to explain the coverages and benefits as they would apply to you. As your personal agent I will strive to meet with you annually to review your policies to avoid gaps in your coverages.

A mobile home's needs are different than other homes. The good news is that Farmers ® offers property, liability and additional coverages - like debris removal - for mobile homes. I can't personally help clear debris, but I can help you understand your coverage options so you can select the coverage that best fits your needs.

It's good to look back and reflect on the last year. If your family experienced any changes, your policy needs may have changed as well. Schedule a Farmers Friendly Review® and let's go over it together.

You have an emergency kit with food and water for you and your family. Great. But does it have all medications you need? You may want to make sure your kit is up to date with at least a week's worth of the items below.

In case of emergency, have an “In Case of Emergency” (ICE) number saved in your phone. Seems obvious, but many medical personnel know to look for contacts listed as ICE when trying to alert people if you're in a medical situation.

Turn up the volume to get the full effect of this cool cat's moves; not only can they probably devastate a dance floor, but can also cause damage to a car hood. Farmers® has seen it and covered it on 7/17/16.

Happy 90th Anniversary Farmers!

Its Farmers 90th Anniversary it's worth marking the official date of our founding - March 28, 1928.

It was exactly 90 years ago today that our founders John Tyler and Thomas Leavey officially opened their doors for business with $50,000 surplus in the bank and 100 paid-up applications on the books.

Three weeks later they opened the doors on the first Home Office on the sixth floor of a building in downtown Los Angeles.

"We bought a few pieces of second-hand furniture consisting of an executive desk, typewriter stand, second-hand typewriter, an adding machine and a few chairs," said John Tyler, recalling the organization's humble beginning in later years.

"We also had a brown leather rocker, and when fatigue overtook us, we took turns using the rocker." The following year, the number of policyholders exceeded 50,000 -- double the pair's initial ambitious aspirations."

Over the next ten years, they rented "six or seven" more rooms in the building, Tyler recalled, and yet they were still "walking over each other."
One story from our early years embodies Farmers® leaders' foresight and their commitment to customer experience. On March 6, 1933, when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt declared a bank holiday, millions of citizens and local businesses had no access to cash including insurance companies - except for Farmers. Company leaders anticipated the bank holiday and stockpiled cash; while other insurers had to settle claims with an "IOU," Farmers district agents were notified by telegram that the claims department had been instructed to make loss settlements to policyholders in cash, the only company in the nation to do so. Word spread of Farmers financial strength and commitment to its customers, setting the stage for explosive growth over the coming years.
