The George Washington University Information Systems Technology

The MSIST program was established in 1980 and is one of the longest-running programs in information systems.

MSIST boasts a large, diverse student and alumni population who are active within GWSB and the GW Tech Alumni Group.
Students choose GW for our unique proximity to government and the Washington Technology Corridor. Our faculty bring real-world experience in helping business and government work together to develop innovative and sustainable IT policies that shape society.
Top consulting firms, product and in-house developers, global service providers, government agencies, nonprofit associations, the U.S. military, and entrepreneurs looking to create “the next big thing” all look to GW’s MSIST program for exceptional IT talent.
