Supposedly pro-worker page celebrating a driver losing their job and deleting literally any comment from drivers explaining what it's like for us and how hard it is on us to take service dogs and wheelchairs and how the person could have called a WAV or UberPet.

Should drivers comply with the ADA? Of course. Is it fair to expect that when it cost us so much? Not at all. If the dog had torn the seats Uber would not fix it. If the driver hurt themself lifting the wheelchair chances are they dont have health insurance. I get the world isnt fair for people with disabilities, but the responsibility to fix that should NOT be placed on workers who often make less than minimum wage. The vast majority of drivers are immigrants, single parents, people with health issues and disabilities, trans people, people of color, and the whole host of people that are barred from other living wage employment.

If you want people with disabilities to have a better transportation experience, rather than punching down at drivers, work with drivers to ensure fair and safe treatment by Uber so that they can meet all your entitled demands.
