Holdingford Family of SEVEN lost their Dad Saturday. Prayers and Donations for this family.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone at Gethsemane for all of your help, support, and love for my parents, John and Marilyn, at last Sunday's church service. Mavis did a wonderful job of integrating their celebration in the announcements and prayers; Tina is a rock star, who helped me with all of the logistics and I'm sure was the person who did that fabulous slide to get the party started; and, of course, enough cannot be said about the team that took care of EVERYTHING related to our coffee hour. Gethsemane is a very special place and Sunday was a perfect example of why. Thank you to each and every one of you who helped make it a special day for Mom and Dad. Let's face it, 65 years is a BIG deal and you all helped them celebrate it!
Am I the only one that drives by Pastor's house, sees their vehicle gone and panics because I am sure they are having their little? Talk about excited, scared and wired I got only to see CJ working on their gardens, bahahahaha. False alarm but so so close.

[08/12/20]   Hello all –

Just a quick note to let you know that most of the carpet has been removed, painting is going real well and you will def see changes when you come to worship this Sunday. We are scraping glue next Tuesday, if you are able to help, please bring a paint scraper and head on over, we be using the big machine but we need the space by the walls hand scraped.

If you didn’t want to remove carpet,
If you didn’t want to scrape,
If you didn’t want to paint,

You CAN:
- Both fridges and the little freezer need cleaning, inside and out
- All doorways and wood need to be cleaned and lemon oiled
- Kitchen could use a cleaning.
- The big toys from nursery will need cleaning.
We need everyone to help. Put in 30 minutes, 60 minutes, it all adds up. We need it.

Faith Formation teachers and retired teachers:
We need people to go through all of the VHS tapes and books that were in the back and eliminate some, give away some and plan for this years (maybe send home books)

A big thank you to:
Doris Lampert
Kayla Sobiech
Michael Trettel
Mavis Buker
David Buker
Braedan Rene
Cory Bengston
And whoever I have forgotten
A huge thank you so far for the help.

Don’t have a key? I will get the doors open for you.
