Join us Monday, April 13th at 4pm EST // 3 PM CST // 2 PM MST // 1pm PST for the next webinar in our COVID Support Series.

Jay Schulze with HomeWork Solutions Inc Household Payroll Services will discuss Paid Leave, Unemployment Benefits, Tax Credits, and Stimulus Checks: Relief for Nannies in Response to COVID-19.

The US Government has passed three economic stimulus bills, and a fourth appears to be near. Things are happening so fast that it is hard to understand how the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) impact nannies and the families who employ them. We will provide a brief overview of the benefit programs included in these bills, which you qualify for, and how you can take advantage of them. We will also address the various scenarios in which continued work, paid leave, and furloughs with unemployment benefits are the best path forward.

As the proud father of two busy young kids, Jay seeks to leverage his experience in personal finance and corporate operations roles to simplify household payroll and tax filing for families. Jay started his career as a financial planner and investment consultant at Merrill Lynch, later moving to the Private Wealth Management group at UBS. He later spent four years at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), serving as a Special Advisor in the Cyber Division and in the Director’s Office. Jay has a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
