“Before Strength Faction I was a young coach feeling scared and overwhelmed. This industry can be tough and being a young coach is not easy. You question if what you are doing is the best, you wonder how to “make it” and sometimes question if you belong in this industry. ⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕Dont go for the homerun swing every at bat with whatever you may be working on. To get the momentum going for yourself, you have to get on base first. It may start with a single (planning meals for the week and writing out a grocery list), and then you advance a base (hit the grocery store to get those items), next thing you know you are standing on third (unpacking groceries and firing up the stove top for meal prep), and then you've crossed home plate (cooked meals and packed up ready to go for the week).

Have a little time before the next Strength Faction "semester" starts up (trainers can join up until the end of the week for spring session...get on it) so I'm staying consistent with my deadlift training. Made great gains last semester! ⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕

Notice the wiggle before lifting? I'm pulling myself down towards the bar, creating tension, to make the lift stronger & safer at the same time. They also call this wedging. Great technique to learn when deadlifting (or lifting in general). #grimstrongfitness #beconfidentbestrong #strengthfaction

When you’re crafting your vision for 2019, write out your ideal self at the end of the year. What is that person like? What have they done?

Once you’ve written out your ideal vision, write out your hellish one. How bad could things be if you don’t act positively toward becoming the person you aspire to come? How much will it hurt? What will get worse?

Use those two visions as motivational tension to craft your goals. You have something to aspire to, and something to avoid. And having something to avoid is a powerful driver that helps us move in a positive direction
