Earlier today I had the pleasure of experiencing one of Helena's mini facial with dermaplaning and I added on the microdermabrasion; I can not Express enough how relaxing and refreshing not to mention how soft my skin feels.. If you want a real treat I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Soft opening this weekend. First time behind the chair in 9 weeks. Felt very nervous at first, the nerves made me hot and a bit sweaty but once I settled down no problems! Felt good to be back to work. The new norm outfit!!

[05/22/20]   Sent out an email yesterday and for those that are not on our email here it is:

To our valued clients,

As you heard this week, Governor Baker has announced reopening salons as long as we have everything in place to reopen for May 25th. Unfortunately the salon is still waiting for supplies to come in to meet the guidelines. I have placed multiple orders to make sure we all stay safe. We are hoping June 2nd. With that being said it will be a day by day trial with Alisse and Angie. Due to different circumstances Aoife, heather and Caitlin will be joining us at a later time. But as soon as they are ready we will let you know.
When we are back to work, we can not work together, we will be working 3 days a week each from Tuesday through Sunday. Need to keep the distance as much as possible.
We are still home, home schooling our kids and where there is no daycare or camps available as of now.
Here as some rules:
When you show up for your appointment stay in your car til we come and get you or text you. Do to no waiting area inside the salon, so please no one else is to come with you for your appointments. Unless a parent brings in their children then we will make arrangements to keep things safe. I’m also putting benches outside the front window across the driveway for you to sit and wait. There will be a waiver to fill out, touchless sanitizer and we have to take your temperature. Please keep in mind what your bringing in the salon should only be keys, cellphone and payment. There will be a UV case to put your stuff in to get sanitized. Keep everything else in your car please. Please wear you masks at all times! If you can not wear a mask due to medical issues, please wait longer before coming in or we can use medical tape to tape the mask on you face so the bottom won’t be as tight for you to be able to breathe better.
There will be cleaning in between every client, so our scheduling will be different than before. No over booking, squeezing in clients, or walk Ins. This is going to be an adjustment for all of us and we need to be patient.
There will be no facial waxing, beard and mustache trimming until further notice.
Clients that color their hair will be treated like a first time customer. When making your appointment we need to book longer time especially for color/foil/cut and blowouts. There will be an up charge on the extra product that we are using. Also we are asking for no big changes in techniques and color changes until we get back to some normalcy.
Making appointments through email for Alisse and Angie. If you already have appointments please keep them were they are. There is a lot of you and only one of us! Let’s all work together for a smoothly reopening.

I thought maybe we’d be back by June but with this announcement today it doesn’t look like it. Maybe mid June to July. Will know more hopefully by Monday. Stay safe, we miss you all!

Mayor Marty Walsh said "We do not anticipate lifting it next week or in the near future. The same applies to our guidelines for physical distancing and face coverings."

He stressed they “will continue to make decisions for Boston" based on data.

[05/04/20]   Mother’s Day gift certificates and hair products are available. Anyone interested please contact me by email or through Facebook to make arrangements for pick up. Hopefully we will be up and running by the beginning of June.

If anyone would like to purchase a gift certificate, mail in a check to the salon. I can either mail it to you or have it at the desk for when you come in for your appointment!

[04/29/20]   SALON UPDATE!
As we all heard Governor Baker announce this week " stay at home order extended" until May 18th. So due to that we are staying closed until we hear that we are able to reopen. I do believe salons are phase 2 in opening back up. So we are hoping to be up and running in June. We are now working on a schedule as a team, since we can not work together. As of now I will not be rescheduling appointments for June as I'm not 100% sure what days and time your stylists will be working.

I've been doing updates to the salon to benefit all of us safety. Sanitation is KEY! Mask and gloves will be worn at all times. Sanitize in between each client. There will be NO water, coffee, candy and magazines. So bring your own.

While we are at home taking care of our family's, there has been a lot of soul searching. As we step back looking and trying to figure out what's next, one of my girls will not coming back to work. She loves being at home with her daughter. We wish Becca nothing but the best in her adventure! And I've decided not to hire a new nail tech. I've decided to scale back. So there will not be anymore nail services and massages for now. I want to focus on hair services and better ourselves in our field. I will be sending another update when we get more information.

Today, the stylists you love and need are preparing to walk away from their chair, their dream job, their income, and their clients that they desperately love and care for.

We all know this is what must be done in order for this darkness to pass, but knowing doesn't make it easier.

So what can we do to help? Wait for them. Don't pick up a box of hair dye to "hold you over." Don't go purchase a wax pot that will make everything much worse! Don't find another stylist willing to fit you in at home. Wait on yours!! He/she needs you. Reach out to them and purchase a gift certificate in any amount. And...most importantly, pray for them. This wasn't something they were prepared for.

To my stylists... This darkness will pass. We will be back and we will hustle with a brand new passion. I love you all ❤️😘🤗

March 25, 2020 Town of Yarmouth COVID-19 Update:

Yarmouth Health Director Bruce Murphy will be making a Code Red phone call this evening to provide a COVID-19 update to Yarmouth residents. A copy of the phone call script is attached.

Town Meeting Update:
The Town Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 has been postponed to Tuesday, May 19 due to COVID-19 concerns.

Disposal Sticker Update:
Existing Yarmouth Disposal Area sticker holders can utilize their existing Disposal Area sticker to access the facility until April 15th. Once this grace period has expired a new Disposal Area sticker will be required. You may also present proof of payment for a new sticker (ex: online receipt or canceled check) in order to access the Disposal Area for household trash disposal or recycling. Those with stickers on their vehicle that expire 4/1/20 do not have to present an online receipt or a canceled check during the 15 day grace period.

[03/21/20]   As the last client leaves the salon today we opened a bottle of wine to say goodbye for now! Sitting here very sad about what’s going on and knowing since we are nonessential business about to lock the doors until we are told otherwise. Hoping this won’t last long. 2,3 even 4 weeks out. [03/17/20]   We are writing with intentions for future appointments and we are doing our part to help contain the virus and protect our clients, hairstylists, and families. At this time we are doing our best to accommodate as many of our scheduled clients through the end of this week as well as we can.

At this time, we have decided it is best to close for 2 weeks. Our last day will be this Saturday, March 21st and hope to reopen by April 7th.
