Zippy's Giant Burgers Georgetown

burgers

Thank you Seattle for nearly seven incredible great burger flipping years. We've only just begun. If you haven't had a chance to, come visit our new joint down in Georgetown on Airport Way right next to Two Tartes Bakery..Zippy's Giant Burgers. An old school burger family run burger shack. The Giant in the name hark ens back to the day when a 1/4 burger was considered giant. Our big patties weigh in around 1/3 # .We use only 100% chuck that we grind in house. No fat is added and each burger truly is a little bit different. Don't forget to give our private label root beer a tasted.Tasty Char broiled burgers served up in Historical Georgetown . Zippy's really is off the beaten path. If you choose to call ahead and we aren't answering the phone we're slammed with customers in the restaurant. Kick back enjoy and ice cold soda or beer. If you're an early riser stop by for one of our breakfast sammies and a cup of Cafe Vita coffee.

[04/18/17]   As I/we inch closer to the nine year anniversary of zippy's giant burgers. I'd/we'd like to share some trivia. In nine years we've ground fresh daily over 700,000 pounds of chuck. That is over 2,000,000 patties (yea two million) that have been made by hand. That's not counting bean burgers and chicken. At least 100,000 pounds of bacon fried up fresh every morning on the flat grill.
Not to sound pandering. If it wasn't for the Zippy's Family there's no way we could've made this happen and last so long..

Burger of the moment is: The Green Chili.
*tasty charbroiled patty.
*freshly roasted anahiem and pasilla peppers.
(not those slimy ones out of a can)
*white cheddar.
*tomato and a little mayo.
$7.50

[03/26/17]   Sold out tonight,. Thank you..

The West Seattle Herald wrote up a really nice piece about the upcoming mayoral election in White Center. Read all about it here:

king5.com Big food fans should start with a healthy breakfast, of course. How about bottomless hash browns and a 12 egg omelet at Beth's Café on Aurora? It can be yours for 18 to 25 dollars, depending on what you add.

[01/03/17]   Every year Zippy's Giant Burgers gives back to the community. This year we'd like share some of our good deeds for 2016.
In 2016 we donated $10,399 cold hard cash money to
some of the following non profits and local groups.
White Center PAL Youth Boxing, White Center food bank, SWAC Youth Football, White Center CDA, Roxhill Elementary ,
On top of our cash donations we also donated $1,680 in gift certificates and $1,000 in catering.
Not too shabby for a small independently run mom and pop business. Just a little toot of our horn.

The Zippy's Holiday Tradition continues for 2016.
the Willy Cheesesteak. This is the seventh year that we've served the cheesesteak as a holiday treat. The fourth year that we've donated a portion of the sales to the White Center Food Bank.
*freshly sliced real deal ribeye
(a seven ounce portion before cooking)
*provolone cheese
*served up on a roll
$8
get it fully loaded with onions, mama lils peppers and mushrooms
$10
As we do every year one dollar from every cheesesteak we sell goes to the White Center Foodbank.

[08/01/16]   Zippy's Georgetown will be closed for the next couple of Mondays.
