The Language Link

The Language Link offers culturally rich language programs for children using complete immersion to engage students in world languages and cultures.

Art, music, drama and games guide the curriculum for our Chinese, French, and Spanish classes. We offer beginning, intermediate and advanced levels in these languages from kindergarten through middle school grades. Since our focus is on oral proficiency, classes are conducted entirely in the target language so that students are fully engaged in the language and culture they are studying. Classes are held on site at your children’s school.

Our teachers are dynamic, creative and love sharing their native languages and cultures with children!

We just finished up our first classes of the year at La Casita Feliz and Maestras Estela and Stephanie are leaving with smiles on their faces! They shared with us their favorite part of the first day in our Pajaritos class.

Maestra Estela: My favorite part is to see all of the kids again and enjoy our activities together.
Maestra Stephanie: I love to meet new kids and see how happy they are to be back in school! They are all so nice and have a good group dynamic.

Way to go! We are all excited for the year to come!

These Gorgeous Animated Shorts Celebrate 11 of Mexico's Indigenous Languages

remezcla.com

Beautiful videos celebrating the diversity of language that exists in Mexico! #loveyourlanguage

"Mexico currently encompasses 364 indigenous dialects, belonging to 68 distinct languages which branch off from 11 language families...And with each language comes a particular vision of the world, an inimitable expressivity, a treasure trove of wisdom accrued over the centuries and codified in words and idioms."

remezcla.com The 68 Voces project aims to preserve Mexico’s indigenous languages and their myths, poems, and stories in the form of beautifully animated short films.

We had a great time painting and meeting our plot neighbors at last week's Name Your Garden party! Thanks to the hosts and our fellow gardeners for being so welcoming to the Language Link family.
