We are so very sad to learn today that one of our preschool coop moms, Caitlin, has been diagnosed with ALS. In addition to the disease, she was the primary breadwinner of the family.
PCPE will be assisting with a scholarship and with childcare on a volunteer basis, and we wanted to help with getting the word out to the broader community about this family in need.

This Sat., Nov. 5 from 4-7pm the PNA is having a Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead Celebration, which is free, and I thought people in our community might be interested. The event will include a neighborhood procession led by Aztec Dancers, a traditional altar dedication, Mexican folk dance, Spanish music for children, delicious food and drink Mexican hot chocolate, and crafts for the kids.
