Dr. Bosted:
My philosophy of medicine is about education and relationships. I believe strongly in the principles of naturopathic medicine and strive to embody them as I practice. I enjoy listening to people's stories to figure out where problems occurred along the way. By listening and teaching about the patterns I see, I can help change and shift those patterns in to new and healthy ones and prevent worse issues from occurring later in life.

It is important to build trust and work together to understand what is happening with the body, mind and spirit. To understand and treat the cause, while removing obstacles, will enable a body to heal in a faster and more efficient way. The longer an imbalance is in place, the longer it will take to regain health.

As a physician I have learned how the body works, what disease patterns look like and how to use different nutrients to support the physical body. Working with people, I have learned about how different and complex each individual is on their individual journey and strive to match the individual with the best fitting treatment plan.

Dr. Kang:

Dr. Kang received a B.S. and M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She has had extensive training as a music and color therapist working with both children and the geriatric population in Seoul, Korea. Before coming to Seattle, she worked as an Islet-transplant researcher and was a member of the medical transplant team studying Diabetes type 1 and 2 at the Samsung General Medical Hospital in Seoul, Korea. She went on to study the science of natural medicine at Bastyr University, graduating in 2010 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She interned at various places including the oncology department at Children's Hospital, the family medicine department at Health Point (a community health center in King County) and the Seattle Naturopathic Family Clinic. Dr. Kang is also certified in advanced nutritional IV therapy, acutonics, and craniosacral therapy.

Dr. Kang is currently doing her post-graduate training at Restorative Health Clinic with Dr. Cristopher Bosted. Besides her current work with Dr. Bosted, she is conducting research on thyroid hormone imbalance and Diabetes Mellitus Type 1/2 resulting from radiation and life trauma using advanced nutritional IV therapy as well as natural methods of coping with chronic stress using acutonic therapy.

Dr. Kang's philosophy of practicing medicine encompasses helping her patients make better choices that will guide them towards a healthier mind and body. She truly believes that every patient is unique and special. Therefore, She also focuses on individualized preventive medicine.
