Embrace The Moon School for Taijiquan & Qigong has been a mainstay in the Seattle Tai Chi & Qigong community for over 20 years. With thirty-five years of experience, founder Kim Ivy has developed her programs to specifically help people of all ages and fitness levels in finding and restoring life and health balance through these mindful, flow based movement art forms. Embrace The Moon offers daily classes for all levels of experience and is committed to caring for everyone's individual learning process. Kim has also created and directs a strong teacher training program, working with specialists in the fields of Chinese Medicine, Philosophy, Human Movement Systems and more, to give students both a broad and deep embodied perspective on these relevant and timely practices. Embrace The Moon hosts workshops by other local, regional and international experts in Tai Chi & Qigong to both teach students and to expose the community to the wide network of people who are also intentionally on the path of equilibrium. Kim believes that even in this time of chaos and uncertainty we have a choice about how we move through it. Tai Chi and Qigong are excellent and very accessible methods of giving us the grounding, the strength and the connection to others we need to do so with grace, sure-footedness and joy.
