Holy Mountain Brewing

Barrels, Brett, hops. Brewery and Taproom in Seattle, Washington.

Just hanging out with a couple friends today.

Freshen Up your Friday!
We've been brewing with fresh hops this week and decided to condition single kegs of Webistics and Demonteller on fresh/wet hops that were harvested just hours prior to conditioning.
Fresh Hop Webistics is conditioned with wet Citra and Simcoe, and Fresh Hop Demonteller is conditioned with wet Citra. Both are on tap starting at 12noon today. No growlers.

UPDATE: 6-PACKS ARE SOLD OUT. Thank you! Hope to see you tomorrow.

We posted yesterday about our fundraiser event for the Houston Food Bank coming up on Thursday. While we've received a lot of positive responses, the overwhelming response has had to do with what time people should line up for the 6-pack boxes we're selling, or what entrance we will be selling these 6-packs from. If you read our post yesterday and walked away with "On Thursday, Holy Mountain is selling 6-packs of rare bottles", you're completely missing the point.

Our goal with these 6-packs was to use some beer we were cellaring to raise even more money for a worthy cause, not to create hype, or a line, or anything like that. It was more than likely an oversight on our part, and to that end, we apologize for any confusion this has caused.

This said, we are still hosting our fundraiser on Thursday, we will still be tapping some rare and awesome kegs and donating 100% of net sales (including draught beer, merchandise, bottles to go, everything) to the Houston Food Bank. But instead of releasing the Houston 6-packs on Thursday when we open, we are releasing them today, right now.

100% of the sales of these 6-packs will still be donated to the Houston Food Bank, they'll just be available a day earlier. And if you choose to pay more than $150 for these 6 beers, we'll charge you whatever you ask us to and all of that money will be donated to the Houston Food Bank.

Again, there are only 24 of these 6-packs available, so if any are left over after today, they will be available at 3pm on Thursday. We will not be posting any 6-pack "count" updates though. We urge all of you to come out on Thursday for our event and spend money for a fantastic cause - after all, every dollar you spend will be used to feed real people in need.

Thanks so much for your continued support and we hope to see you soon.

This Thursday, 9/14, we're holding a fundraiser in the Holy Mountain Taproom to raise money for the Houston Food Bank and those affected by Hurricane Harvey. We will donate 100% of net sales for the evening to the Houston Food Bank - and our Taproom Manager, Chris Devlin (who is a native of Houston), will be donating his tips from the evening as well.

We'll be tapping a few special kegs for the fundraiser and have also put together a limited run of "Houston 6-pack" bottle sets that will be available for $150/each. The 6-pack sets will include bottles of:

Guava Gin Table - 750ml
2017 Midnight Still - 500ml
2016 Coffee/Vanilla Midnight Still - 500ml
Phosphene - 750ml
Sudachi Table - 750ml
Raise the Dead - 750ml

Only 24 of these 6-pack sets will be available (1 per person) and 100% of the sales will also be donated to the Houston Food Bank.

We hope to see you Thursday!

CRYSTAL SHIP is back and on tap today!

3:30 UPDATE - Spirit Crusher is SOLD OUT

We're down to 20cs of Spirit Crusher and 50cs of Second Death. The remaining stock will be available in the taproom starting now.

Tomorrow (FRIDAY 9/8) at 12noon, we'll be releasing cans of Second Death and Spirit Crusher.

SECOND DEATH is a Helles Style Lager brewed with 100% German Pilsner malt, lightly hopped with German Tettnang, and fermented with our favorite lager yeast. 4.8% ABV, $18/4-pack, limit 3 x 4-packs per person

SPIRIT CRUSHER is a juicy and aromatic Double IPA brewed with malted and unmalted oats, pilsner malt, and two row. Hopped with insane amounts of Simcoe, Centennial, Citra, and Mosaic. 8.5% ABV, $22/4-pack, limit 2 x 4-packs per person

Kegs of Second Death and Spirit Crusher will be on tap as well when we open at 12noon.

Though this release is on a Friday, the setup will be the same as our regular Saturday releases, with can sales available through the alley (West) entrance of the brewery. Bottles of Witchfinder as well as Spirit Crusher t-shirts will also be available in the can line.

Please NO DRINKING in line or anywhere outside of our building and please no line cutting. We also ask that everyone be mindful of any "No Parking" signs in neighboring lots as your vehicles can be towed if parked in clearly marked spaces reserved for another business.

As always, thanks for your support and we hope to see you Friday!

Today at 3pm, we're releasing a fresh batch of WITCHFINDER - in bottles, on draught, and in t-shirt form. Witchfinder is a Saison brewed with Pilsner malt and wheat, hopped with a mix of American and European hops, and fermented with a blended house Saison strain. Bottle conditioned with Brett. $15/bottle, 4 bottle limit per person.
T-shirts will be available in our Taproom and online (see link in profile)
