The Glasswing collective was started by three friends. We share an appreciation for strong design and subtle details. Our hope is that by sharing the excitement that surrounds discovering new art, we can inspire others to support and add to the creative movement we are currently experiencing.

🍃 Ficus Decora: The easy going big leaf beauty. One of the larger house plants that can do well in lower levels of light.
. . .
Green Tip: To encourage branching, remove the top growing tip and new shoots will begin to form and branch out. Have questions about your Rubber Tree? Email us at!

One of our favorite plants is the Calathea Makoyana commonly known as the Peacock Plant.
. . .
Many houseplants love a humid environment, Calathea included. Tips for achieving this at home can be as simple as placing a bowl of water around the plant. Frequent misting helps but often isn't enough so make sure you are creating an environment your plants will be happy in! Questions? Email for advice!

Two new styles are available in-store from Vancouver designer Vestige. This photo features the Earthen Top that's cut from the most beautiful fabric, a wool & linen blend.
. . .
Designer Aileen Lee found inspiration for her fall collection through her muse for the season: Ceramic Artist Janaki Larsen (Follow her here: @janakilarsen)

Back in stock! The coveted Chinese Money Plant! We have just a handful of these available (limit 2 per/person please!)
. . .
The Pilea Peperomioides is native to southern China and it's round leaves are thought to bring good luck, wealth and fortune.

Simple beauty from MIRTA // Reverse Black Diamond Gold Ear Cuff (piercing not required) paired with the Reverse Black Diamond Gold Hug Earring
. . .
MIRTA is the newest addition to our jewelry collection. We are drawn to their design approach that's founded in architecture as well as traditional silversmithing techniques.

Hey guys! It's the last week of our #glasswingseattle Summer Sale! We added a few more styles and made some deeper cuts on already marked pieces.

Just unpacked! Our first delivery from Universal Works. This collarless v-next shirt in olive poplin has been a favorite to layer with. Under, over, looks great styled any which way.
. . .
We should have some of these new cuts up on the site shortly!

Inspiration for the weekend: Dillon Marsh's (b. 1981) landscapes, altered to showcase precious metals visually extracted from their natural habitats.
. . .
From the series, "For What It's Worth" which features gold, copper, platinum and diamonds.

We are in love with over our first pre-fall shipment from Mara Hoffman. These front-fold black and white beauties are the most elegant.
. . .
Mara Hoffman has a commitment to sustainability. They are constantly looking for options and alternatives in the industry to manufacture responsibly and with care. This process starts mindfully during the initial style designs and carries throughout the rest of the line.
