CrossFit in a highly-guided, small group format. Coach Jeff is in his 16th year as a fitness/movement trainer; CrossFit since 2005.

Train as often as you can, gradually focusing more on short bursts of high intensity, measurable efforts which mimic all of life's possible demands.
Develop a superior level of metabolic conditioning using sprinting, rowing and other movements capable of moving large loads long distances quickly. Master the basics of body control: breakfalling, rolls, squats, pushups, pull-ups, hand-balancing, basic ring exercises, lunging, climbing, jumping, etc.. Lift heavy things often in various functional ways: deadlift, clean, press, jerk, pull, snatch, squat until you can lift at least double what you could untrained. Don't neglect fundamental aspects of physical development such as: coordination, accuracy, agility, reaction time, speed, balance, flexibility. I don't know if I'd have her do single leg squats, looking at her stability, but 3 years is plenty of time to build enough blood flow and connective tissue strength to support exploration of ones strength limits.

[01/12/17]   Today I saw a video made by vegan apologists comparing black beans to beef. Apparently it is still so common to believe that fat is bad, that black beans win (among other reasons) because they're fat free. Beef fat is naturally loaded with nutrients. Beef becomes bad when it's made with profits in mind. But isn't that true of all food? Why do we still trust rich people trying to get more rich to produce our food?! Happy animals and good soil and water produce the most nutritious food possible.
