We are a bistro and bar located in Ballard that welcomes hungry diners, beverage enthusiasts, neighbors and visitors alike.
The name Brimmer & Heeltap commemorates the proper pour, one that teases the top of the glass and culminates in a satisfying glimpse of the bottom. Like a good toast, Brimmer & Heeltap is a place that evokes camaraderie – a sense of where we've been and where we want to arrive.
In early 2012 we endeavored to set our own table. The idea was to fashion a destination just on the other side of your doorstep: a gathering space for friends, with all the comforts of home and a uniquely crafted menu of small bites, family style plates and thoughtful libations.
We opted for a quarter of the city where we feel intrinsically connected. Ballard is a lauded destination for its entrepreneurial temperament and flourishing establishments – the proximity to other dynamic Seattle neighborhoods being the proverbial icing on the cake.
Thanks to the dedication (and appetites!) of friends and family we are looking forward to cultivating an eatery that we’re proud to hang our hat in.
