Take Flight, Opportunities for Life
"Ain't nothing gonna break her stride...she's running and she won't touch ground!"
Victoria McSmith - you remember the one, the most committed, tenacious young lady you'll ever meet - just earned (in the middle of starting college in another state) her Private Pilot certificate on Saturday, the 9th!
Victoria, you are an inspiration to us all. Congratulations!
Despite the smoke (FU) and haze (HZ), our pilots are still making strides.
Congratulations, Agrim Sareen, on earning your Multi-engine Commercial rating today!
Please welcome our newest pilot to the community...
Luke Bohlinger successfully completed his Private Pilot checkride yesterday! Congratulations, Luke!

Tucker Bowlin soloed an airplane on his 16th birthday this last Sunday, the 27th! An incredible achievement to earn on the first day he could legally solo. Congrats, Tucker!
While it's doubtful we share the same thrill as Kramer does about seeing how far we can get when the gauge reads empty, fuel management, or mismanagement, still plagues aviation. See the NTSB's latest report:
Today, Ryan McGillivray took to the skies solo for the first time!
Remember the instructor who completed two Private Pilots in one day? Well, he now has three in 3 days!
Congratulations to Nana Amponsah on earning his wings Tuesday, the 22nd! Making it look easy. We also love the shirt, by the way.
We also were *finally* able to snap a picture of Matthew Smith, who earned his Private Pilot certificate back on August 7th. It's nice when things (pilots and airplanes) come together.
Congratulations, Matthew! It's now Facebook official.
And, one of our instructors had two students earn their certificates on the same day!
Ryan Bordner and Chris Van Arsdale both completed their Private Pilot checkrides yesterday.
Awesome work Ryan and Chris!
We were busy getting our newest Private Pilots across the finish line this last week.
The first was Cameron Pickett, who completed his checkride on Wednesday, the 16th. Congratulations, Cameron! Way to stick with it - we're beaming with pride!
