Edd Cox Fine Art was the location I chose to move to after creating and working from a studio at 619 Western for 30 years.
The 313 First Avenue South storefront was a beautiful space for relocation. There was a great gallery space, office mezzanine and lower basement for painting and ceramics/sculpture studio space.
Established in March of 2011, Edd Cox Fine Art featured exhibitions of northwest artists, music and spoken word events and an educational component for teaching oil painting and ceramics.
It was also my studio for painting, ceramics, drawing, and digital video, audio, animation, 3d composition and graphics.
The gallery and studio participated in multiple Pioneer Square events, endeavoring to share, wherever possible, positive energy and support.
Establishing the gallery, event, performance and educational storefront was an incredible experience. I gave my energy and spirit, weathered storms and enjoyed a multitude of magnificent moments and people, from the neighborhood, community and around the world.
Edd Cox Fine Art closed in March 2014.

Dear Brilliant Seattle,
The current exhibition featuring Joseph Reno, contains 120 incredible artworks of paintings, sculpture and prints is an amazing one-time visual experience. After a two month presentation the exhibit ends on Sunday June 2nd. Joe’s life and artworks have the energy, mystique and execution, closely related to the paintings of the Northwest Masters Morris Graves, Mark Tobey, and Guy Anderson who Joe visited, painted, collected and corresponded with at his studio in La Connor.
