The kitchen of Cicchetti integrates the bounty of the Pacific Northwest food cycle with a distinctly Mediterranean inspiration, creating innovative and exciting cuisine to satisfy the palate. A Venetian restaurant nestled in the Eastlake neighborhood.

Owner Susan Kaufman was originally inspired by her love-affair with the small plates, or “cicchetti,” she discovered at Venetian tapas bars. As she traveled extensively throughout the Mediterranean, she found a unifying thread in both the flavors and atmospheres of the casual and warm eating environments she frequented. Determined to bring the essence of all of these cultures and flavors home, she launched Cicchetti Kitchen + Bar in November of 2009. Respecting the unique Seattle architectural gem designed by George Suyama, she transformed the décor into a modern, convivial space that reflects a traditional Venetian aesthetic with a distinct Northwest attitude. The rest is history.
