Love. Patience. Respect.
Our mission is to provide a safe, warm, loving, caring and educational environment for young children. We practice positive discipline; we respect children as we like to be respected.
We provide healthy mostly organic whole foods; processed foods are limited and avoided as much as possible. Our snacks are typically crackers, whole fruits, cheese, breads, milk, etc. We provide the children with hot lunches that are prepared daily in our family kitchen. We participate in the City of Seattle’s nutritional food program.
We believe children should be children—they should have fun and it is OK to get dirty when playing. Children learn through their senses at this very young age. They like to touch, taste, and observe. These repetitive behaviors provide a way to experiment and learn. We believe it is important to allow children to freely explore their world, and we provide close supervision and guidance to ensure a safe environment for discovery. Children are encouraged to explore nature and to learn to appreciate our coexistence with other animals.
The focus of learning at Panda Chinese Family Daycare emphasizes the learning opportunities presented through play to teach children letters, numbers, colors, and other basic early learning concepts. We believe the most important early learning concepts for pre-Kindergarten children are morals, manners, and appropriate social interaction. We believe the pre-Kindergarten years are the most important years for establishing security, love, respect, caring, and sympathy.
Spring is here, and kids are busy playing.
