There’s no way to describe the feeling you get when giving back. Max was one of the patients selected to design a pair of shoes for Ciara and Russell Wilson's daughter Sienna. His reaction, as best described by his mom Nicole, is touching:

“I woke Max up this morning for school and got to show him the opening of the shoes he designed. His smile was priceless. He has been through a lot and giving him the opportunity to participate in something like this was truly amazing. My heart is smiling this morning.”

Compassionate, Coordinated Care at Seattle Children’s Gender Clinic

pulse.seattlechildrens.org

Assigned female at birth, Jay is working with our Gender Clinic team to fully transition to the male gender he has identified with since he was a baby. The team provides compassionate, coordinated care to help with the challenges that come with such a complex process. Gender Clinic care navigator Lara Hayden knows that every family is different and at a different place in their journey.

“We never forget that their physical and mental health are intertwined. We’re all starting to understand that gender is a spectrum and not just black and white, so we need to treat each patient in a way that suits their particular need,” said Hayden.

Thanks, U.S. Reps. Herrera Beutler and Reichert!

U.S. Representatives Jaime Herrera Beutler and Dave Reichert were right to vote against the proposed American Health Care Act currently under Senate review. According to a report just released by Avalere Health, the bill cuts $43 billion in Medicaid funding for children over the next ten years, jeopardizing coverage for more than 30 million kids annually who rely on Medicaid. Join us in thanking them for remaining committed to affordable, high-quality health care for all children.

congressweb.com Please sign this petition to express deep appreciation for U.S. Representatives Jaime Herrera Beutler's and Dave Reichert's support for children's health care in the Northwest. These two members of Congress were among few in their party to stand up for our kids by opposing the American Health Care A...
