ZUM Games did not disappoint! High five to all those who came out to play yesterday.

Hey ZUM! It’s not too late to sign up for the ZUM Games. Here’s Deepak on why you really, really want to do exactly that.

We're not sure if it's ironic or appropriate to post a career opportunity on Labor Day, but we are sure that we are searching for positive, intelligent, and empathetic candidates to fill our Personal Fitness Coach positions.

Interested? Check out out our landing page here: https://zumfitness.com/careers/

We hope that you are out having fun this weekend! Saturday and Sunday hours and classes the same. Limited hours and classes Monday.

//NEW CLASS ALERT// We are adding to our Saturday lineup with a *new* yoga class starting this Saturday at 10:00 am. After the 2nd, the class will shift to 10:30 am.

Amber Rule, our yoga instructor is new to ZUM so please join us in giving her a warm welcome. Amber grew up in Southern California and started her yoga journey while going to school in Santa Barbara, CA. After college she volunteered at a Buddhist retreat center where she began realizing her calling on a path of service and creativity through yoga and art. When she moved to Washington she received her 200 RYT through Three Trees Yoga Healing and Arts Center's integrative yoga training program. Outside of yoga, Amber is a passionate artist. She recently created a coloring book with artwork focusing on spirituality and yoga philosophy which gives 30% of proceeds to a local animal advocacy group.

Through teaching yoga she helps students build their practice while creating a space for introspecting the self in a loving and nonjudgmental environment. Her teaching style varies with intensity depending on what students need in each individual class. Classes are accessible to all students and they will find a healthy challenge and edge within their practice no matter their experience level. This class is considered a moving meditation that focuses on consciously integrating each breathe with each movement. She teaches an alignment based practice to ensure that the body is protected and continues growing strength, flexibly and integrity on the mat and in daily life.

#tbt to when ZUM came together to ride in, donate to, and otherwise support Obliteride. We "ZUM'd" past our fundraising goal and collected over $3400 in donations. All together, Brian Tracy 's BE Positive + ZUM Team raised over $7500! Incredible! Missed your chance to contribute? We can accept donations until September 14th both online or at the front desk.

Meet August's Member of the Month - Neha Nariya | ZUM Fitness

There’s no way we could let the month of August go by without introducing you to August’s Member of the Month, Neha Nariya !

When we think about Neha, we think about family. She’s been an integral part of our ZUM family since joining in 2008. She’s made working out at ZUM a family affair too! After her engagement in 2009, she brought her fiance, Sandeap to ZUM and then her sister Nisha in 2011.

It’s been an honor to support Neha’s fitness journey over the years through many momentous life moments including her latest - welcoming her and Sandeap’s first child - their son, Devan! Congratulations, guys! We couldn’t be happier for you!

zumfitness.com Back when you first joined, what made you choose ZUM? I joined back in 2008! I had just moved back to Seattle from Philadelphia and was looking for new gym home. To be honest, the old ZUM location was really convenient for me, and I could walk there after work. However, I did…Continue reading →

Ali had 7 awesome cyclists tearing it up this morning in Westlake Park! Way to go team! There's still time to join in the fun at 12pm with Doc and 5:30pm with Liz. Classes are free and open to everyone, so bring a friend and ride with us!

Couple of backlit buds here last week during the inaugural ZUM Social Run Club. Join us Wednesdays (tomorrow!) at 6:30 am and Thursdays at 6:30 pm. Rick leads the run to venture from ZUM toward the Market, along the waterfront, and through Myrtle Edwards Park for loop ranging from 3.5 - 5 miles. Connect with other ZUM members in a fun, social setting; we'll maintain an easy, conversational pace. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost. C'mon! You know you wanna run with us. Photo: Rick

Ever wonder what ZUM trainers do on the weekend? They hang out in hotel ballrooms lifting heavy things. Sierra and Monique traveled to Long Beach this past weekend for the Perform Better Functional Training Summit. Here they are making 500 lbs look easy ;) #pbfts2017
