American Marriage Ministries

We are a non-denominational church that ordains all regardless of creed or lack thereof so that they can perform marriage for friends and family members.

American Marriage Ministries is a non-profit, interfaith and non-denominational church, founded on July 4th, 2009. We are a Federally Recognized 501(c)3 Public Charitable Organization as described by the IRS. Our online ordination is FREE and processed immediately.

Our mission is to ensure that all people have the ability to exercise their right to solemnize marriage. We have ordained over 400,000 Ministers around the world.

We believe that choosing a life partner, and choosing someone to officially bless that union, is an inalienable right that belongs to all people. Your spiritual freedom is protected by the religious non-establishment clause of the 1st Amendment.

What You Don't Need at Your Wedding

lifehacker.com

"If you’re not religious, whom do you get to marry you? Theoretically, anyone you want. American Marriage Ministries is a church based solely on the freedom of all people to marry, 'regardless of race, sexual identity, nationality, socioeconomic status, or religious background."

lifehacker.com Legally, all you need for a wedding is a visit to the county clerk’s office, and whatever else your local government requires. (Check here.) Everything else is optional. Of course, some things are more optional than others.

"I chose to become an AMM Minister because a friend had an AMM minister perform their wedding ceremony and his stories made me decide to look into ordination. There are a lot of places to get ordained online, but AMM’s services had the best reviews and fit how I feel in my heart about marriage. Performing ceremonies for couples in a nonjudgmental, fun, and loving environment was the best way for me to make my corner of the world better." - Jamie Hullenbaugh,Celebrant & Officiant, AMM Minister since August 2011

Why did YOU choose to become ordained with AMM?

"The whole ceremony was filled with Blessings. When you realize you are helping two people in love, join together for the rest of their lives, it gives you a feeling of fulfillment." -Minister Saeed
