Georgetown Arts and Cultural Center (GACC) is an artist-run contemporary arts and cultural organization located in Seattle, WA. GACC exhibits work by emerging artists, and works with artists of all ages to become agents of creative change in the community. All donations are tax-deductible as we are fiscally umbrelled 501c3 under Shunpike.

Come see painters, photographers, herbalists, printmakers and maybe a surprise or two, also in our main gallery work by S Jordan Lee with her tiny and affordable tongue in cheek paintings of animals getting their drink on

Great opening last night with S Jordan Lee such a fun show and great turn out! We will have open hours next Saturday noon- 3 pm if ya missed it

Everyone is a buzz at the art center looking forward to this Saturday's show by Josh Mojica and his show of portraits of the beautiful men ,women and children from the Syrian refugee camp(s) he has worked with. This is a beautiful show of portraits of many friends and if you are moved to help you are welcome to donate to the cause of helping care for refugees our fellow brothers and sisters who are in between worlds with no home. Love knows no bounds let's do this! This is josh plotting which portraits to show..hard choice they are all so beautiful and each tells a story unique and powerful

Congratulations to artist Kat Cifu for doing a wonderful body of artworks and for dedicating half the proceeds from this show to Noel House women's shelter . Way to be amazing !! And a loving thank you to those who buy art from artists..supporting cultural vitality and keeping our community alive.

The Georgetown Arts and Cultural Center will be closed for renovations til next month. But we will be rating it up in our friends studios throughout Georgetown, come have fun with us:)

Here's to our friends who still make change even after their passing SEATTLE -- Over the weekend, the Pagan community in the pacific northwest learned that one of its beloved members, a fellow teacher, talented artist, and close friend, had committed suicide. Since then, shock has rolled through the community, turning into expressions of deep sadness. Writer Rhyd
