One great way to immerse yourself in the joys of NPYM is leading children in their annual session program. There are a couple of ways we would love to have you help.
∙ The age group program allows time over several days to build some important relationships with a small group of kids in one age group. We usually staff these groups with two volunteers, who each receive a waiver of their fees for annual session. There are spots open with the youngest age groups: infants, toddlers, preschoolers and primary age Friends. We also need another adult leader for Central Friends, who are of middle school age.
∙ In the evenings and for two afternoons, the Children's Activity program includes all ages of children for recreational activities and cross-age interaction. We pay $15 an hour for leading this program.

Either of these roles, taken in full or on a part-time basis can help you or another Friend afford to come to annual session.
