The Friends of the J. Paul Leonard Library is a non-profit affiliate of San Francisco State University. The organization was founded in 1980.

[07/31/17]   Thank you for all the marvelous book donations this summer. Barbara Loomis, the Booksale Chair, has worked nonstop with book, CD and LP donations from far and wide. The treasure trove of books will be on sale August 22 when we reopen the Booksale Room!

The Friends Booksale Room will have a pop-up book sale on the Library plaza on August 28 and 29 from 10-3. Please stop by and pick up some great bargains - most $1 and $2 books, LPs, CDs and DVDs! We accept cash and checks.

Many thanks to all who participated in Gator Camp this summer. Thanks to Debbie Masters, Head Librarian, for hosting the library portion of this wonderful and enriching event. Also thanks to Jeff Rosen, and Meredith Eilassen, both SF State Librarians who helped with the library activities for the kids. The Friends of the Library donated 45 children's books to kids who attended Camp while they were at the Library Workshop.
