SF State Graduate Studies

There are approximately 6,000 students enrolled in post baccalaureate study at San Francisco State University in 95 master's programs, an Ed.D., 27 credential programs, and 3 joint doctoral programs with the University of California.

Our students, many of whom are working full- or part-time, are fully engaged in scholarly endeavors, including basic and applied research, creative projects, and service to the community.

CALL FOR PRESENTERS: The Graduate Research and Creative Works Showcase is an annual exhibition of the diverse work of SF State’s innovated and talented graduate students.

This event is an excellent opportunity to share your work with the broader academic community, win prizes, and build your résumé or curriculum vitae.

NSF-funded program will prepare students to protect urban coasts | SF State News

#SFSU is currently recruiting students for interdisciplinary MS program focused on urbanized coasts at the Romberg Tiburon Center for Environmental Studies. The new graduate program is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
